Your logic in this post is just plain flawed. I have pointed out the differences in what Reagan did and what Obama did. You are ignoring that fact that Reagan's EO clarified some language in the RECENTLY passed Immigration Law. Recent as in the law was passed in 86' and his EO was in 87'.
What law has been passed by Congress that Obama is clarifying? He is only creating another EO that only has backing in another EO he wrote. We have over 11 million illegal immigrants in this country and via EO only, he has given protection and legal status to almost half of them. He has also granted them permission to work, obtain SS cards and the IRS has even said they get to file for and receive tax refunds. This is creating law. He is granting access and permissions that go beyond deferring or not deporting people. That is what makes this EO illegal. He is making a law even if he says it is temporary, the judge the froze the EO put it best, "You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube."
