Actually he is disappointed in EU countries who have refused to offer him asylum, so it seems he is stuck in Russia unless, a trial gets offered him with 12 jurors rather than a one judge.

Can you say Guantanamo, illegal rendition, torture bases and you have the gall to show your face wrt "fair trials" in the USA?!

Well...that puts his "I can live with that" in perspective, doesn't it?

And he can stay in Russia where he will live a much freer existence...and where the chances of the government keeping tabs on him is so much less than here in the US.

I am not interested in the interview...or what Snowden has to say. He should be saying what he has to say in a court in the US...not while in Russia.

In any case, he did say "I can live with that"....and the fact that he is going to stay in Russia (not known as a place much freer than the US nor less prone to keep tabs on citizens) puts all that crap in perspective.

So I say again:

I responded to what you wrote.

My comments were on issue...and appropriate.

I think he should put his money where his mouth is if he is so ok with being in chains in gitmo and get out of Russia and face the charges. I mean if he don't mind the consequences, what difference does it make if has 12 jurors or just one judge? Go ahead and arrange to come to the US and stand for trial.
