Guns are a public health issue? How about people's idiocy and hypocrisy - I don't know why something so avoidable and so predictable can lead to such darkness. So I agree...

But I am not sure of the NRA's intentions just because I agree with one of their points, but let's just play it safe and stop picking sides - they are all doing something wrong and against humanity.

Why would I not choose the side that is standing boldly for civil rights and the vital social net? In light of that, would "getting on with my life" not be clearly construed as being purely selfish? After all that is why I once used to cling to religion, not as a vehicle to make $ but as a way to uniquely love people. Since the holy books lost their truth factor to me, that is not a reason to stop seeking a "live love" way of life. That is not the kind of person I am to throw the baby out with the bathwater. I cannot turn my back on the poor and elderly like shutting off a light. GOOD character is defined clearly by NOT being like the Paul Ryans and Ted Cruz' of the world.

I lived being a child with guns, in a naborhood of well armed children.
I had mostly 2 inch barreled .38 caliber revolvers,
until I upgraded to .44 caliber revolvers.
When I was home alone at age 8, I felt mildly ill-at-ease
(NOT "terrified", as u falsely claim),
until I got my first .38 revolver. Since then, I have felt serene.
That is the accurate truth, from which u flee. I was safe.

Every child shud be safe, able to defend himself.

IF I had wanted to commit murder,
as u falsely allege, then I 'd have done it by now.

U are on the side of violent criminals, or of violent animals,
that woud injure or kill children, if possible.

U advocate for children to be killed, IN A STATE OF HELPLESSNESS
in any such encounters.
I advocate that the victims be powerful enuf
in their defense as to PREVAIL over the predators.

Thay were trained in safe gun-handling procedures by their elders.
In my direct observation for 5 years,
thay were competent in handling guns, with no resulting difficulty.
