@oralloy,
So when one uses a gun in self defense the purpose of the gun is to kill. (Unless you want to argue again that shooting someone through the heart is only to incapacitate them. Drunk )

Yes. Both heart and spine with every bullet if possible.

It is never a good idea to base logic on dishonest statistics.

In addition to those statistics being dishonest, your logic is bad.

Even if the stats were actually accurate, there would still be no indication that the presence of guns makes anything worse.

Bad stats and bad logic. Bad all around.

@oralloy,
I'm still confused, can you tell me which guns cannot cause death? I've owned hand guns and I still have 2 shotguns. Not terribly good with the shotguns, but the handgun used to fit me like a glove. I'm fab with the hand gun,but I've only killed bottles and cans.

@oralloy,
Why do you think the Republicans didn't even try to work with the Secret Service concerns about open or concealed carry during the upcoming convention. Do you think the candidates worry? Of course not, it's only the rest of the country that should buy guns in order to be the 'good guys with guns". Let me guess.......you might assume Donald the T will ignore the risks to the population, well of course, everybody but the Donald are losers.

@glitterbag,
When I was in the USAF, we were issued carbines and a 38, because we worked with nukes on the flight line. We had practice, I think, once.

@cicerone imposter,
You never took it upon yourself to go to a range and sharpen your skills and or to make sure you were proficient?

@Baldimo,
I was never the best shot, but better than average. When stationed in New Mexico, a buddy and I used to go rabbit hunting with 22s. Got a few of them. In NM, you saw dead rabbits on the roads all the time.

3 year old dead due to carelessness

When I was 3 years old I was sucking my thumb and dragging around a stuffed animal.

Parents need to be held accountable.

Why would anyone need an AR-15 for "personal use" ??

@Suttle Tea,
Why did Obama's Admin fail to do anything about this guy? No, we don't need gun reform, we need the Obama administration to stop treating Muslims with kid gloves. That's 2 terrorists acts his admin failed to stop because of how they treat muslims...

@Baldimo,
Sure, Baldimo. Let's start to treat all potential terrorists as guilty. That means we should start with white men with guns. After all, why should we treat potential terrorists with kid gloves?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrorism_in_the_United_States#2010.E2.80.93present

Clearly, the majority of terrorist acts in the US listed on Wiki were by white men.
