Guns And The Laws That Govern Them

@parados,
What hyperbole? I simply asked a question you don't want to answer. Facts were indeed provided. CA already has laws on the books for guns that require a mag, its a locking mechanism that must be on all guns that take mags. Yet LA now wants to limit the # of bullets in a mag. These are all facts, not hyperbole. Do you not know about the laws that are already in effect?

Once the anti-gunners realize that a 10 round limit isn't enough to stop gun violence, they will move to ban guns. I mean isn't that the whole point anyways?

So, should we call that hyperbole, a slippery slope fallacy or a straw man fallacy? I'll let you choose which one. You don't get to call it fact because it obviously isn't.

@parados,
You should really learn to quote the proper post in the future. It's really no more hyperbole then what Rex is using in his anti-gun posts. Why not correct him?

So back to the real issue since you want to divert. CA has the button lock laws, and now LA has doubled down with an ammo limit, whats next on the list? 5 round limit? An attempt at a total ban?

@Baldimo,
You are using the "He did it first" defense? Really?

And then you double down with the exact same slippery slope argument.

@parados,
I sure am, as you selectively choose who you want to play this game with. If it was evenly applied I wouldn't care. I know you don't really care either. You just want to keep from answering the question as posed.

So what is the next step? Dare you answer the question?

@Baldimo,
If you want to argue that you are the same as Cobbler then I will be happy to ignore you as well.

@parados,
Back to the original question... So Parados what's the next step if the 10 round limit doesn't work?

@Baldimo,
If it doesn't work in what way?

The way intended by those that proposed it or the straw man you have constructed?

@parados,
If it doesn't work to lower the violent crime rate as it is intended. They passed the bullet button law for the same reason and yet we don't know if it worked but another restrictive law was passed. So what's next?

Apropos of nothing I thought this bit of a much larger bit on the Adam Goodes controversy was interesting.

Quote:
I've lived in Australia for ten years now as an American expat. One thing I've learned about my adopted home is its problem with racism is similar in many ways to America's problem with guns: it is so endemic and culturally ingrained, that its perpetrators and propagators can't even see that it's a problem. This is the root of the Adam Goodes controversy.

@RexRed,
I'm surprised you posted this Rex. You are one of those people who blame the gun instead of the person behind it.

We need laws to protect hunters from kooks who try to attack them.
