I am so thankful the tomato is safe from genetic modification. My main staple, now we need to get corn back to nature too!!! Wheat is also non genetically modified... So pesticides and fertilizers become the final concerns...

Is the genetically engineered corn you’re eating, “eating” you?
http://tv.greenmedinfo.com/is-the-genetically-engineered-corn-youre-eating-eating-you/

Every time I eat corn my stomach hurts just under my ribs... I accidentally bought a bag of fish sticks forgetting the breading on them was corn and the stomach pains came back right after I ate them... I have had to cut corn out of my diet. I am going to try non GMO organic corn and see if it does the same.

Thank you Monsanto for ruining the corn plant...

And thank you India for rejecting Monsanto's poisonous seeds and pesticides...

You know sometimes I have difficulty defining evil but this Monsanto takes the cake...

..and why do you think marijuana is being legalized everywhere? So Monsanto can raid the diverse seed populations of namely California and Maine and ruin that plant too...

You want to bet they have their eye on that plant, big time...

@RexRed,
youre a bit confused, most farmers are supporters of GMO crops because they up production and lower costs of field work.
You have to work on the farmers not some batch of suburban bulletin board posters .

I dont use GMO grain in my feed mixes becasuse I sell a lot to the Halal market and Kosher market. While there are no strict religious no nos to use of GMO's, most traditional butchers dont want any of their carcasses in a fashion that wouldnt be recognized by their patriarchs.

Write to farmers bulletins and crop news as you are a customer. You notice that the small mafrds of food products are at the tip of the ice berg. The large bakers and meat producers dont give a **** right now.

@farmerman,
Farmers are learning that GMOs and round-up are creating super weeds that destroy fields... Read the article I posted above on India and the workers illness from GMO cotton...

The farmers will learn the hard lesson when their products sit on the selves and rot. If no one buys them then the food markets refuse to carry them and their fields are unfit for growing anything else...

here it is again

@RexRed,
All the farmers around here do is to plant the "Roundup Ready seeds" and then keep shooting Roundup on the volunteer weeds that have developed resistance. The articles arent fully factual about Roundup Ready resistance. Its happening but not at the rate they imply.
