Maybe someone will take the time and explain it to you. I know I won't.

@McGentrix,
As long as we all agree that electing a female president isn't a big deal.

@maxdancona,
Electing a female president would be a BFD.

@cicerone imposter,
He was attempting in a rather long cartoon to point out that people claim all kinds of things never happen, but then they do.

Like Karl Rove's statement

Quote:
Carl Rove notes that there's never been a case of a presidential candidate being over 50 in mid October and losing.

(I haven't researched it, just taking it as a given that Karl Rove said it)

The way this election has been going, there is still time for Obama to make up the numbers and not all polls say the same things, so you gotta pick and choose which one you want to believe in. However, I do concede that for now Romney has a narrow lead in most and a bigger lead in others. That may change in a day or two or three...still got 19 days. It will be close no matter what.

Romney 47. 7 Obama 46. 7 RCP

If it all didn't directly affect our lives, it would be one big game show that seems to go on and on. I don't know how either one is still making it, to tell the truth.

@revelette,
I'm seeing the same things you are, and wonder why? Women are voting for Romney to take away their rights to health care, equal pay, and abortion.

I'm even trying to figure that out! It's too stupid and illogical.

Women are voting for themselves and their spouses to have jobs. This election is not about social issues; worrying about social issues is a luxury which we can no longer afford after four years of the kind of mis-management we've just experienced. This election is about being alive four years down the road and maybe worrying about social issues then.

Charles II of England made a statement concerning the nature of important things which became famous and he was talking about the role of the British navy when he said

Quote:
It is upon the navy, under the good providence of God, that the safety, honor, and welfare of this realm do chiefly depend.

Likewise, this US election is about all of the things upon which the safety, honor, and welfare of our realm chiefly depend. Those things include energy, trade policies, tax policies, the manner in which our regulatory agencies are run and operated, and things of that nature.

@cicerone imposter,
You must belong to that school of thought that divides the western religions into Christian, Catholic, and Mormon.

@roger,
I don't have to do any "division," because they do it all by themselves!

You see, there the ones who aren't speaking out against discrimination against gays, lesbian, women, and minorities; voter suppression; and telling their workers that they must vote for Romney or lose their jobs. This country used to be a democratic republic where voting was a fundamental right of citizenship.

What more need be said? You tell me.

Dark days ahead for team Obama.

Obama concedes Florida and North Carolina.

Virginia and Ohio are now in play with Romney surging.

The momentum is clearly with Romney.

Prepare for liberal hysteria to increase because they can neither
believe nor accept that their guy is going to loose this election.

@Cycloptichorn,
Things I've learned: unless you use the specific words "terrorist attack" it totally doesn't count. "Act of terror" is too vague. The rightwing thesaurus must have a lot of caveats and footnotes. Cool

@jcboy,
When they work so hard to suppress votes, and they're more interested in the definition of words, it tells us where their heads at!

Why can't people see "all this?" Is this the new political handicap of our times?

@jcboy,
And "Mission Accomplished" does not refer to a specific military mission....
