Well, not always. I tried to round up School Cat the day I left my no-longer-home in Venice, not a good day. Couldn't find him.
It was all right, he had a host of others monitoring his care, and if I had rounded him up I'd have had hell to pay in my next two abodes and he would have faced a new area, not always a kindness.

Still, I miss that damn cat.

He is a pretty cat, he needs to be caught and neutered. I’m not ready for another cat but if I could find a home for him I will.

We have a shelter in town called Pet Pals, non-profit. It’s a no kill shelter. They take in animals all the time. If I couldn’t find a home for him I could take him there, better then being on the streets where he may get hit by a car.

The stray cat now lets me pet him. He’s not in good health, he feels like skin and bones. He’s missing hair off his back legs, maybe from getting into cat fights. He’s going to have to get to the Vet!

He is kind of slinky looking. He's got good teeth, but like Morgan said, skin and bones. He's got two small holes in his side, not sure what that is from, almost looks like holes from a BB gun.
