I wish we'd known! We play on Yahoo. This year the league is called A2K12. George's son, Rhys, is our commissioner this year.

We have a call up - a thread about asking people to join - pre season, thus this thread this year.

Lincecum!!!! Guy's got me worried (he's my ace). Plus he's one of my players that can't be cut from the fantasy team. Grrrrrr.

I will give you all a big tip, some of you may know this others may not...And the information comes to the first who reads it to the last...

Insert 2 closers in your rp positions...and put at least 3 to 4 other closers in your p slots...Until days of your starters are atleast 3, then bench one of your closers...You rack up innings, and saves that way!! plus with most closers being pretty good, and only pitching one inning at a time, it helps out a lot in the whip ratio category, and era category as well, and you get suprised, and sometimes you even sneak out a few wins from them...Most leagues do not count losses, so it is worth it....

Just do not take it overboard like I do, and map out every closer for every team before the season starts! LMAO

I will gladly join next year...If I am invited...Or it is OK for me to join...I am not a trash talker or anything...So there would be no problems...And I have been a commissioner in about ten leagues...So if George's son wants a break next year, I will run it...or if he wants to run it, that's cool...But I will def. join next year!

I hate to say this...He is my favorite player! But I do honestly think something is wrong with his arm! His velocity is down, and he is not throwing sliders right now....

Cool, Spademaster (aka Ryan). I'm sorry you weren't around when we were trolling for players before the season began. A2K is hardly a hotbed for sports, as you can see from some of my early postings in the thread.

We also have an NFL fantasy game each year.
And this year we may see something on the Summer Olympics.

Right. I even saw the warnings, but I saw warnings about other pitchers too. So it goes. (I have a general sort of Bay Area bias)

We also had a soccer league once upon a time - I think Fbaezer started that one. It was fun.

I have done just about everything from baseball, to salary cap football, to madness brackets, to a fantasy golf team I have right now...

The hardest thing for me to win...Which I finally did this year, was a survival football league...Because it is out of 50 teams! Myself, and two others picked 3 different teams the week that Baltimore, Green-bay, Giants, and Carolina got beat...and the league went from like 23 teams, to 3 in one week!...then after a couple more weeks, one guy got knocked out...And the last week myself and the team left went with Tenn, and they lost...Since it is single elim, and we both lost that week, we both got First place....

I am down for other games...But I do not know a lot about soccer...But I would be game to play it!

I have won a football league, Hockey league, and am in first in the last week of basketball...If I win, and win one baseball league...I could say I did the American grand slam!

I have never had such a great year!

Other than one year in football, I won 2 leagues, and came in second, and fourth in another...But this year beats it!

Because I do not really follow basketball, or hockey...Just know a little here and there...I LOVE BASEBALL, and am good at football...
