People who don't vote are pure lazy. The can't find the time to investigate the options.

Because you have met all of them and know this for sure. One day I want to sit down and read how that went meeting all the millions or so that don't and tell me how lazy they really are. Cause I want to know, especially how you made time to meet all of them. I am completely fascinated by that. Awe-inspired.

Caprice (or anyone else who might have an opinion):

Would you be in favor of having the option of a protest vote on the ballot? I wonder what effect that would have.

I thought that's what fringe parties and radical parties were all about. They essentially provide the same function.

BlueMonkey: What Ceili stated is true. Many of those who don't vote can't be bothered to find out what the issues are and who the candidates are. Sitting back and not voting accomplishes nothing but the appearance of apathy.

When I get the $$'s together I intend on joining every major political party there is in Canada. The way the government works, that seems to be the true source of voting power -- voting for the leader of a party by party members. If particular party members are peeved about it, all the better. I hope to start a trend. Very Happy

IMO anyone who doesn't vote has got no right to complain about the government.

I don't vote so I have no right to complain either way. If the president is bad or if he is good there is no right for me to have an opinion. I don't vote because I don't want to. What I see is two choices. Both are poison one is just less so than the other. And so I don't give my support for either.

It has been said.

I don't see how not voting takes away your "right" to complain. BlueMonkey doesn't vote because he doesn't believe that either choice is worthy of his vote. Whether you vote for the "lesser of two evils", or you choose to abstain, and not participate in the horrible choices that you are given, you are still making a choice, and that affects the country just as much as your voting does. You should have just as much right as anybody else to argue your point.

Great forum when we have those who habitually insult the president yet we are not allowed to insult them in turn.

The slimy little turd you've got as a president is very easy to insult.

Laughing When has that ever stopped you, cj?

Surely you understand that if President Whistleass was a member of A2K then it would be a matter of forum decorum -- the TOS and all -- not to insult him...

And I certainly don't consider you a moron for supporting Bush...

So the answer to your frustration is, pick you out a Democratic candidate and hurl invective to your heart's content.

I promise I won't attack you for doing so.

Hold it. Why is Justin 'innocent'? Because he backed off of it on Monday like a punk and LIED about a 'wardrobe malfunction'? It was HIS song. The last line he sang right before the breast bearing bit was something about 'ripping off your clothes.' Rube my ass. Janet didn't rehearse it by herself.

ER television series had a picture of a 70 year old woman's right tit in an upcoming episode. The network scrapped the scene.
