Hmmmm..... where do you see LN placing the sociopath, hobitbob?
In line behind Vlad Tepes.
oooh, I like that. Did Niven do an Vlad the impaler story that I missed?
I love confusing you.

No, Larry Niven wrote a re-visitation of Dante's Comedia Divna called "Inferno" in the mid 1970s. The protagonist is a mid-list SF writer who falls from a window at a con, and wakes up in the vestibule of Hell. Much interesting-ness follows.
Hnh, I don't think I've read inferno.
I did, but a longggg time ago. Niches galore.
Just checked out a Google search on the lovely Rev Phelps and his equally charmless daughter. Looney Tunes meets Heinrich Himmler.
Did you guys know that in addition to the godhatesfags.com site, he runs one called:
GodHatesAmerica
Oh, Mr Stillwater, I so wish I hadn't gone cruising through that site...... nightmares I'll have tonight.
I only stopped in long enough to send them an email telling them what I think of them. But even the page titles are likely to give me nightmares.
And to think that I was visitor number 3767041 {shudder}
I find nothing wrong with having a monument of the 10 Commandments. They are not wrong.
I think Mr. Phelps is a loser who has no life. Hating anyone is a waste of energy. People who are negative are so not worthy of life.
His monument is horrible. The boy died and it should not be glorified for his hatred.
But I don't condone homosexuality.
So...what was your point in that incoherent blathering above?
I think Phelp's hell is having to live with himself 24 hours a day. Just think how awful that must be--constantly spewing hate while exposing his own pathetic lack of intelligence and humanity.
No, the cyan anthropoid.
-Phelps is not raising statues of the 10 commandments.
-Phelps is a hate monger who wants to put up statues of Matthew Shepard, saying : "In Helll since 1998."
-I doubt Sheppard hated anyone, so its not Sheppard's hatred that is glorified, but Phelps.'
-Nature does not care what you do or do not condone. Live with it!

I am going to do this one at a time, seeing that you have problems reading.
I find (my opinion) nothing (in other words zero) wrong (not right) with having a monument of the 10 Commandments.

His monument is horrible (not good, bad, shouldn't be made). The boy died (no longer alive) and it should not be glorified (Matthew's death) for his (duh Phelps) hatred.

I think it is wrong to be homosexual. But I will not hate anyone who is. I do not think they will go to hell. It is their choice. I can't make them do what I think is right just as much as they can't make me think it is right.
