Does anyone have any advice about going back to college?

Reply Sat 19 Nov, 2011 10:25 pm
I would like to go back to college and pursue getting a second degree. I am aware of the fact that if I go back to school I am going to be at least a generation older than most of my peers. I intend on going back to school and treating it like it is a job and take it much more seriously this time. I would like to know does anyone have any advice about going back to school and assimilating and getting back into the swing of things? Please help.

@JGoldman10,
Already asked and answered in this thread of yours:

Does anyone here have any friendly advice about going back to school?

@Butrflynet,
Okay - but do YOU have any specific advise about going back to school and fitting in? I am interested to know what you have to say.

WAIT! you have a first degree? as in a four year degree? I dont think I knew that. THis is certainly more evidence for my assertion that the University has failed.

You mean a major in Animation/Film from a real university, as apposed to a diploma mill....I rest my case that the University has failed!

Back in the day what JGOLDBRICK 10 calls
"research" was called "dilly-dallying"

@Butrflynet,
Yes I am. I saw your response to my other thread - that didn't answer my question.

You shouldn't make assumptions- I am genuinely curious.

@JGoldman10,
Your history on A2K, as well as your blatant and often repeated declarations about you not caring what people think about your behavior, says otherwise about your interest in learning to fit in with people.

G'nite.

@Butrflynet,
You don't want to help and want to HOLD THINGS AGAINST PEOPLE, that is YOUR problem.

I will ask someone who I am actually FRIENDS with. Get lost.

@Butrflynet,
It is OBVIOUS you aren't a Christian. You tried to CONDEMN me for something I did a while ago like some GODLESS SADISTIC HEATHEN.

I forgive you for that - Go away and good riddance.

Have you ever had a friend who was not make believe? I kinda doubt it. Butterfly has made a fool out of herself taking you seriously and trying to help you with your stupid questions, and this is the thanks she gets from you??

TOO. FUNNY.

I haven't been in college since the '90s- how is this a stupid question?

@Butrflynet,
Wait a minute - what does what I do on a WEB FORUM have to do with interacting with people in REAL LIFE? NOTHING. WHEN I GO BACK TO COLLEGE I GOING TO INTERACTING WITH LIVE PEOPLE.

I am on this SITE dealing with MANIACS and DEGENERATES who want to attack CHRISTIANS. THIS IS NOT THE SAME THING.

Why do you ASSUME I act the same way I act around people in PERSON when I am ON A WEB FORUM?

Please answer that.

No **** man. Goldman, I thought her genuine attempts to help you were quite admirable. And you try to give her a guilt trip. You're a real piece of work. Given a choice between your kind of christian and Butrflynet, I'll take her every time.
