@Tabludama,
Sleepless in Seattle
Black rapist. Race of his many victims censored.
A man who has been charged with raping two teenage sisters in Federal Way earlier this month and is a suspect in a half-dozen more rapes pleaded not guilty Tuesday to two counts of first-degree rape, along with assault, burglary and unlawful imprisonment.
In the meantime, law-enforcement officials continue to investigate Anthony C. Dias, 26, as the prime suspect in six other rapes from Des Moines to Tacoma that began in August. He has not been charged in the other rapes.
Dias was arrested Nov. 8 after he allegedly entered a Federal Way apartment, bound a 45-year-old woman and raped her two teenage daughters. Dias was shot in the arm by an officer while trying to flee police after the victims
escaped.

According to the search warrant filed in King County Superior Court, a
19-year-old Fircrest, Pierce County, woman was repeatedly raped Aug. 31 in her home by a masked man who said he would kill the young woman's mother and brother if she cried or woke them. The suspect also forced her to swallow two pills that he said were the drug Ecstasy and then sexually assaulted her with the barrel of his gun, the search warrant says.
The warrant also describes an Oct. 9 attack in which the rapist cut the phone line to the home of a 24-year-old Tacoma woman, sexually assaulted her numerous times and then used soap in an apparent attempt to clean DNA evidence from her body.
During another attack Oct. 28 in Federal Way, five members of a household were either bound, beaten or raped, the search warrant says.
T
he men were kicked and struck with a handgun and two women were raped. The suspect also forced all five members of the household to perform sexual acts on each other while taunting the males for being unable to protect their girlfriends, according to the search warrant.
In another Tacoma rape Oct. 31, two male housemates were bound with duct tape while a female housemate was forced to undress. The suspect reportedly saw a picture of the female victim's sister and demanded that the woman call her 17-year-old sister and tell her to come over with money.
The suspect fled just as the sister arrived, the search warrant says, because the men had freed themselves and were calling for help.
That same day, according to the search warrant, a masked man broke into a Des Moines home with four residents around 9 p.m., raped two women and duct-taped a 2-year-child into the lap of a third member of the household.
