I made a marinara last night, without my usual parsley. Substituted with too much basil ..... hmmmm. I could have used your suggestions, my dear. Food is not the same without you.

osso, I hope your left eye makes it. I'm 'legally' blind in my left eye; so we'd make a perfect pair. My right eye is still pretty good! However, I am also going a little deaf. LOL

I think once Osso comes back we should throw a huge party. How about if we have the party at cicerone imposter's house? He's got plenty of money and would be willing to foot the bill for the party.

Some of us can help out with party balloons and hats and stuff like that. I'll bring paper plates and napkins and some plastic forks. I just checked my cupboard and noticed I'm out of plastic spoons and knives -- someone else will have to bring those.

We'll put Osso at the head of the table in CI's massive master dining room (the one with the thirteen chandeliers, not the one in the south wing) and when I give the signal.... pop the champagne and let the friggin' balloons fly. Blow them noisemakers!

I'm tellin' ya.... it's gonna be a hell of a good time.

Gus, Love your imagination; "thirteen chandeliers" just about covers our whole house! However, we can fit about 25 people into our bungalow.
