@reasoning logic,
As you like grotesquely deformed breasts, I thought you might like a song about big bottoms.

Izzy I really am no big titty fan and as a matter of fact I wish people could be more happy with what ever they have. I am more of a face person myself not that a good shape isn't nice to see but I enjoy seeing pretty smiles more.

I find that most people could not care less to study moral philosophy but maybe you can prove me to be wrong?

Morality? Yes? No? Then what is morality?

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
Well that is interesting that you are curious to see how an atheist would act if Jesus came down from heaven to make an attempt to prove his divinity to us.

I would only ask him a series of questions if I had the opportunity, but only to see how he would answer them.

First, I would ask if God is omniscient. If he answered yes god is omniscient, then I would ask this: If god is omniscient, then would he have the power to see the end at the beginning and everything in-between? If he answered yes then I would ask another question: If god had the ability to see everything before it happened then why would he create an angel (the devil) who would go against him? If he knew that "Satan" was going to turn on him, then why would he create him in the first place? After all, it was because of the "snake" tempting Adam and Eve that resulted in original sin which damned all the nations to come. I mean, if a god really was omniscient, then was his divine plan to create a creature to go against him so he could justify the fall of man? Never helping humanity??

Or is it that he is not omniscient and didn't see the bad results until they happened?

Is it that he seen the evil to come from his creation, but lacked the ability to change it?

If he is all-powerful, then can he change his all-knowing mind? If so, then he would not be all-knowing; or, in other words, omniscient. If he lacked the power to change his mind, then he would not be omnipotent.

The problems of god are very profound and this truly is a small sect of questions concering religion and god. If you would like to raise questions, please do.

I haven't slept in 20 hours... Goodnight

I have posed similar questions to spade before. In fact I bet somewhere in this thread is a question from me that is identical to yours minus how you ask it. Spade's typical response to these sorts of questions are to either ignore them, gloss over them completely or change the subject. From spade's perspective he "knows" god is real because he has "conversations" with his god. He doesn't need faith because he "knows" god is real.

I do find your post a little strange though. If jesus were to return wouldn't it make asking for the refutation of the logical premise of christianity pointless?

@Krumple,
Your correct on that point, but my overall goal was just to raise questions to help him think a bit more on the subject before jumping to conclusions. If Jesus did return, then Christianity would be proven true but that is very unlikely. I would say that I'm 100% certain that there is no personal god, but the debate, in itself, cannot be proven either way. We can, however, make an attempt to come up with the best logical explanation for a serious philosophical problem like this.

Glad to have joined this forum. It truly is an interesting place.

You are welcome.

I do not understand Ryan as much as I wish that I did but I will say that he is more often a gentleman than not but don't we all get it wrong at times? I often wonder if he is being serious in his replies because he seems as though he should be able to understand some of the logic being put forward but I myself get much of it wrong so I have to also say that there could be a true possibility of his sincerity in his replies.

Maybe I am wrong but I think we are all guilty of preconceived notions that allow us all to discredit the logic being shared.
