Your analogy of the Easter Bunny is ridiculous, and you only use it because it's simple. There are records of people who have claimed to be prophets of God and attracted a huge following, the most prominent being Mohammed. Nobody's ever attracted huge followers by claiming to be the Easter Bunny.

Their are records of people jumping off of bridges as well and there have been many people who have followed after them, there has also been people who drank many types of Kool-aid but do you think that gives good reason to be a follower of them?

Well, I agree with a lot of what Max Keiser says, but I don't think he's an intellectual. How about you?

P.S. I punctuated your sentence, so it now makes sense.

Sure I think that Max is intellectual and I think you can be intellectual at times as well but I do think Max knows a little bit more than you or I when it comes to banking.

@reasoning logic,
Thanks for the compliment, but I'm not an intellectual, and neither is Max.

What definition of intellectual are you so hard pressed on using?

That's circular because your definition of philosophy requires that those things cannot be done.

In fact they not only can be done but have been an uncountable number of times.

You've got professor syndrome.

I have explained what I think has happened, when this has happened...

OK so you have a subjective opinion about it but what is it that makes your opinion empirically true?

Nothing, what makes it empirically not true?

If nothing does, then it ONLY matters what that person thinks...

Therefor, you can not think you know what someone means, if you do not...And you can not think that another is on a level as the Easter Bunny, unless you were or claimed you were either of the 2, yourself...

If you empirically can not prove, I have a neurological problem...

Than it is foolish, to believe that I have one...

Or pretend to know, what is actually happening...

Who is it that is here, that believes you are a prophet and that I have been ridiculing?

I do not know if they believe it, but telling them, I guess you can get others to think they are the Easter Bunny as well... Rolling Eyes

Is ridiculing...If you do not think so, please explain, what you "think" it is....

That's not why you're not Islmic Spade. It is because of where you were born. You're the Ayatollah type.

No, it is not...I love how other people "tell me" what I am, and think...

I am not Islamic, because I do not believe that Mohammed was, and is, the last Prophet....Once I read this...I would "Know" I do not believe it is true...It would not make a difference where on Earth, I was...

And where I was born, may have cultural have conditioned me....But I would have read all the scriptures...and embraced the one I thought was right, like I did, in finding Christianity...The only way, it would not have happened...Was if I never had a chance to read any of them...And in that case...I probably would have been none of them....When I got to the point of being an atheist....

If you truly believed that either one of those 2 things would make you happy...Why would a person chose not to do them?? Just because "others" looking from the outside in...Think it is not...Does not mean we are right about it...."we just "think" we are"!

If a person drank Kool-aid...And thought that was a good reason to do so...Are they right or wrong? And why?

If a person wanted to jump off a bridge...And he did...And others followed him...How did these others think it was a bad idea?? Are they right or wrong? and why?

We on the outside, form judgements about it...And it is merely an opinion about it...That is all it is...really!

No one has a superior way of understanding anything at all...

if he was the first to do it...Would you tell me...How I should listen to him, so that I "may think" I am a prophet of God?

OK lets see how this logic works viewing it from a different angle.

If someone thinks that there are invisible pink unicorns all around us and none of us can empirically disprove it, it must be empirically true?

I did not say for a fact that you did, what I am saying is that it may not be a bad idea to have the old thinker checked out by a professional.

If you had a different type of technical problem that needed repairing would you allow a professional to checked it out?

No but if he was the first to believe himself to be an Easter bunny and had many that followed him I might suggest to you, that you may be going in the wrong direction if you thought you should follow too.

Try not to be so ridiculous Spade.

You're a "head over the parapet--hey--look at me" job and wherever you were and whenever it was you would have employed the tools to hand. In your case the One God idea invented by pagans.

You're just trying to avoid an ordinary job and/or being an ordinary sort of Mr Average dickhead.

This is not 100% accurate statement either...Or else, there would not be, Judaisms who embrace Christianity, Christians who are Islamic, Islam's who embrace Christianity...

So if this much is true...Then it does not make sense, to believe, anyone who embraces a theology...Is because of where, they were born....
