@reasoning logic,
Why are you the only one who's not getting it?

You should realise rl that those are contradictory proposals.

@spendius,
And that those who have saved for retirement have lowered consumer demand on which so many millions of jobs depend.

Put your noggin in a defenestration machine and start all over is my advice.

@XXSpadeMasterXX,
Great post Ryan. The only thing that I wish from you is that you would speak up when you see something that does not seem ethical in your every day life.
Look around you, "you can see it in all of us. We do not have to hate people for there acts of immorality but I think that it is our duty to state what we think is immoral and happening here on earth.
Please just call the spades "spades" and if we are wrong for doing that then so be it at least we tried to help gods will be done on earth as it is done in heaven. You know that I do not believe in a God but that does not mean that I do not value truth and choose to worship it and seek to find it everywhere I can.

Not if those who are able to work are paid a living wage. What is a living wage? I hope that it would be equal to what you think that your own mother should receive if she tried as hard as she can.

We will all come to a point in our lives where we are unable to work or we think that we have had enough.

AMEN. I be working as long as I live though... But ensure I travel and enjoy life as well.

And to add.

Who the heck knows if there is a God or not?

If someone believes he / she exists.. That is their priogrative visa versa.

No one is right and no one is wrong.

But, as for Spades (sorry) RL I agree, he is a person, a human being, humble and looses it because of "pressure" and wanting to belong? Makes him a person... human. It's why I like him, he's real.

Now I believe he does exists ,**** I've seen what I call ghosts but as always, I believe the Bible is man made and the Church is after wealth.

End of story on my behalf...

That works for me.
We all have our beliefs, why force it upon another. We may (or may not) find out when we are dead whether we were right or wrong or maybe even both.

@Sturgis,
That's what shits me off.

Apart from "this" thread as Spades is finding.... There are too many arguements and at the end of the day, it's un-known.

We are born once in this body, we experience what we experience... which leads us to believe or not believe, I hope. I appreciate there are those lost little ones that just cling to a Bible. But assertive people work with what they experience.

Man people should just chill. And be happy with what ever they think.....

@FOUND SOUL,
People come here to discuss these topics (and that includes you). Spade asked both those who do and those who don't believe to comment. He's been pissing in his pants ever since because people took him up on his offer (and since you came a long, you've been doing so on his behalf). It appears that you want to tell people what they can or cannot talk about.

This is what we do here--get over it.

The Olympic Games will soon be on our screens and we will be able to view the spectacle of women, some of them mothers I suppose, trying as hard as they can.

My mother thought such women ridiculous.

I know how innocent you are rl but you really ought to know by now that there is a wide gulf between trying as hard as you can and asserting that you are doing so.

@Setanta,
Setanta, you don't get me yet?

I will stand up for people, you are right he did pose the question so he should get what he takes but he doesn't... He invited it. No where will or do I tell people what they can't or can talk about. I will POINT out read the person, understand where they are coming from before judging.

Sheez you should see that.

This is what I do here, accept it.

The reality is you are who you are. Accept it.

I see a guy who shys back after being attacked or who trys to "fit in" after being attacked.

But ultimately, he is just trying to learn.

Very different from " I state" to "I believe"..

And so, I will stand by him... because belief in anything means that you have a purpose, a thought, and a mission.

I won't disregard that in anyone that is what makes a person successful in life and one that stands alone, assertive in all they believe that they are.

You know clearly who you are and don't give a **** about anyone else who doesn't get you.

Let's give someone a chance to find that.

@FOUND SOUL,
I accept it, i also think it's misguided, "aw, look at the cute little puppy" bullshit. Telling people they are peddling bullshit is one of the things i do here.

I consider you to be a very judgmental person.

@Setanta,
If he was a cute little puppy, then are people not feeling "sorry" ? Here is a guy who is a "nice" guy, means well, finding, trying? No bullshit.

Yeah I know that about you. Do you have compassion for someone who is living in nightmares? Night after night but trying to find a meaning? Sheez?

How can I be judgemental when I am not judging him.. Rather accepting him.

Look, Set... Someone called you a bitch laughed my ass off, but also called him a foul mouth, ............

You need to see people for who they are, call out those jerks that are dickheads.

Call the lost, that are learning, fair enough.

Is not life about friggen accepting people for who they are and knowing who you are? Laugh, cry, or piss yourself laughing over anyone but they are who they are. So are you.

I think you have a bit more compassion than you're willing to admit. Personally.

@FOUND SOUL,
You judge people every time you have one of your menopausal fits and go after them for what they've said to or about someone else. You're trying to make yourself sound like some kind of hero, but when you get on your high horse, you're just a nasty bully who's already taken sides.

If Spade's life is a nightmare, whose fault is that? Starting a thead and then lashing out at the people who show up on page one certainly is not going to end anyone's nightmares. I have zero sympathy for anyone as hateful and mean as Spade. He's brought it on himself, and then he tries to blame everyone else for the troubles he's created.

Zero sympathy.

Your toucy-feely, new age pop psychology here is cloying.

By the way, this is definitely one of those "if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen" situations. This isn't some sand box where you tell the kiddies to play nice. People come here to argue, and you're whining about it. Maybe you and Spade both need to leave the kitchen.
