How many people have you come across on A2K who value watching your videos? The only reason I think they're mindless, (good adjective btw farmerman,) is because I've watched them.
Your argument makes a lot more sense when you turn it on its head. It's your subjective opinion that makes you think they're of value. Listen to the concensus, turn off youtube, buy a kindle, read a book, anything, even if it's just Enid Blyton.
