Lest it be unclear, JoefromChi has been succinctly posting my thoughts.

I don't hold Drew Dad in contempt, but I just watched the fulgent agreement by him about what was already distractive spatting. I'll avoid the word hysteric and use hilarious.

Not that I never make distractive posts. The thread wheeled off into left field and over the wall, which of course I can sympathize with.

I'm still interested in the photo history.

Clear enough for me, and I agree completely.

My opinion of Wandel is as high as ever, and my view of DrewDad is, well, confirmed.

Not to fan any last embers, but ambiguous is not always a good thing to be.

Wandel was wrong. Nothing i've read since this incident began convinces me otherwise. My regard for him is significantly diminished. I know that he is intelligent and perceptive, but i also now know that he is incapable of admitting that he might have been wrong. He might have acknowledged that his choice of expression was unfortunate; he might have acknowledged that he misjudged. Instead, he has engaged in a spiral of more strident snide condemnations of everyone who has told him he was wrong. He descended to the level of a vicious and unwarranted slur against a member who disagreed with him. He has suggested that any criticism of him is motivated by hysteria.

Wandel was and remains wrong. I doubt that i can ever again hold him in the regard i once did. I have not doubt that he'll have supercilious and slightinly remark to make about me as a result. I don't care--he's no longer someone whose opinion matters to me.
