(Sophia, you should be on that show!)
It could be we were purposefully led astray by Kwami's initial reaction and response. The show is adept at leaving out pieces of the puzzle -- the board room meetings in Donald's own words actually last 45 minutes or more.

I would LOVE it!
Customer service is a big thing, I think. Something I've noticed is these young kids seem to march into someone's place of business trying to get them to do or buy for purposes to benefit the show, rather than taking a few minutes to see what the customer is about.
I would have met Simpson's band, and established a phone relationship with a member of her travelling party--so I'd know what she liked to recieve when landing--what she liked in her room--how she was feeling--if she had a widdle headache-- So, when she finished working with me, she'd have a glowing report. The little no talent airhead. <hee>
If they tried to take the 'show aspect' out of it, and really perform as if they were running their own business for a profit--they'd do so much better, IMO.
Meanwhile, it is pathetic that I am devoting this much time to this silly show.
Aside-- Do you know Oprah's website is being overrun by angry people because of Omarosa's appearance and the N word fiasco?

That's interesting - I guess the people who have already given her awards from the first go around are blushing a little
This is a commercial for Trump -- basically we're watching a commercial that is lasting for hours.
You're right about personally getting in contact with Simpson and establishing an itinerary (they should have watched an episode of "Las Vegas!")
The Wizard
Hey Wizard, why would anyone except adolescent boys watch Las Vegas, that badly written tit and ass soap opera?
BBB
True, I tried to watch the first episodes and you're right. They've tried to smarten it up and some of the later episodes are much better. However, it does give some pointers about how Vegas treats famous and non-famous guests. I just found it basic common sense and was criticising Omarosa and Kwami for not being at least savvy about something on pop TV.

Maybe Trump is watching all of them to see who will come to the plate and fix the messes? If that's the case, I'm betting Troy or maybe even Nick. They're the only ones who really step up and take responsibility. DT is always talking about passion for what you do. Troy and Nick are the only candidates I've seen so far who really show passion. But who knows? The last show is going to be very interesting.
I agree about Troy but Nick has no fire. He is dull and fireless. He talks as if he has to sell something. There is no human element to his speaking.
Nick has no fire and was fired? Kwami and Bill have fire? A fire after meeting an extinguisher. It doesn't look to me like Donald is really looking for "fire" except with a "d" on the end. His executives were the most lackluster lot I've ever encountered. The old gal had the most umph. I just don't think Nick or Amy were able to buck up their leadership approach or leadership qualities. With both of them, people were likely to follow because they are beautiful people. Kwami and Bill could be characterized in the same way. You notice all the contestants who really lacked extraordinary good looks are gone? This is really boiling down to all show and really no substance. I'm anxious to see what company is created or what company the Donald foists up for the winner to run. Could it be Trump Water? Or perhaps the failing casinos? That would be a challenge -- to turn around Donald's failing casinos before he loses them. Actually, Taj Mahal is outdated by all the extravagant theme casino hotels in Las Vegas.
and the winner is...Bill. if i were Kwame, i'd have fired Omarosa on the spot.
i was humored by Sam. i really liked Trump's commercial w/ Sam. Sam belongs on saturday night live.
Ereka has to stop crying on the job. she's a backstabber, but not a racist at all.
Omarosa is an extreme racist, and it is because of people like her, that racism remains in this country. she is 100% shrewd, and needs some taming. if life takes her to places she desires..good for her....but all the money in the world couldn't "bribe" me to go work for her. she lacks a heart.
Nick is okay. i take him with a grain of salt...i think he's real smart. i think he has great potential. i was surprised to see him go before Amy.
as far as Nick's personality? i'm not sure if he has one?
i like Heidi. she has a lot of what it takes to be successful, she just needs someone to 'give her a chance', and i believe her "boss" will be extremely surprised and grateful. she should wash out her mouth a little though...
when Jesse was fired, she deserved it. if she wants respect, she's got to give it also. she's a backstabber...and what's worse is, she doesn't even realize it.
Katrina's too self-absorbed. she belongs at the check-out counter.
Amy is half shrewd..and that is too dangerous in the company. she enjoys playing head games w/ anyone. she's very good at this game, and that is why she lasted this long.
i really like Troy. he's very charming. he may have only a high school diploma, but his IQ is up there..and the best way to learn is hands on. i think Trump should do something with this man, simply because he is very intelligent, humble, motivated, eager, honest, authentic, respectful, loyal, and most important, teachable. i believe Trump would be 'pleasantly pleased'.
Bill is not necessarily the 'best', but he may very well win. and i believe Bill will do his job extremely well. i'd work for Bill in an instant...he's very intelligent, logical, open-minded,motivated, driven, a leader, and has a good heart.
i hate reality shows...i thought. i only watch apprentice and amer. idol. the rest are a waste of time. i am far from a Trump 'wannabee'. however, i dig Trump for his drive alone. i believe what bothers people is that Trump doesn't have an ounce of humility in him. he goes beyond being arrogant, yet i do not think he's a condescending person {like Omarosa}. he's just not humble...and he'd stop "losing", and "succeed" more if he was humble. someone should teach him this.
never before, have people smiled so much at the words: "you're fired!"
Welcome to A2K, musica. I like your observations -- how many of us are going to be glued to the screen Thursday for the live finale? I'm convinced that Bill will win. I would also have no problem working for him -- he wouldn't demand loyalty, he would work to create it. People skills and leadership just aren't learned in schooling.
I don't believe there's a chance that DT will overturn his execs' -- it was kind of a dirty trick that the interviews came ups a kind of pop quiz but then they all were in the same boat. Kwami and Bill pulled ahead at that point. This would, of course, take place up front and then there would be no show. The tasks would be the traditional 90 day test period for an employee where they are given tasks and have to competantly achieve the goals and hopefully excel. The Peter Principal is that people rise to the level of their own incompetance. Back to "How to Suceed in Business Without Really Trying."

B&Q were already ahead. DT didn't like the relationship that Nick and Amy were forming and especailly amy because she was using her sexuality again to get ahead. They were already losing when they were the last two together. They were gone. They only sealed the fact that they were gone by not knowing how to hold it together during the questioning. Nick can't run a company other than doing what he is doing now. He only speaks like a sales person and not a person anyone would want to get to know.
As for Good looking--there were some good looking people who were thrown off way before now.
Nick and Amy won the last task by a pretty good margin and Amy had the best winning record at tasks, and was also the one chosen by teammates to lead many times. Previously you posted that Amy was going ahead, not Kwame. The post interviews of Amy and Nick revealed their relationaship as a "showmance" and they didn't start seeing one another until after the show. That relationship is now history. Donald's been intereviewed as stating he's had romances crop up within his organizations and he's dealt with them with a soft hand. There's a lot of set-ups and clever editing to throw one off as to what the outcome will be. I said in the beginning and I still say that there is really not very good evidence that any of the candidates have the leadership qualities to step into a position Trump has in mind. I still don't see it (and it's not far off from the other reality shows where romantic involvements don't last either).
Can you belive that Mark Burnett - the producer is putting his 2 shows against each other?SURVIVOR vs THE APPRENTICE on primetime (tonight) - what's with that?
Get your VCR, VDR or VMR warmed up, husker. The producers are not usually that influential re time slots. The network competition is sometimes brutal.
After watching the special on him last night - I wonder how hard he fought it? He looks or seems like a fighter - then on the other hand - he's got $$$ rolling in, in all directions.
