When I was a kid in hi school,
I knew another student named Weiner.
We belonged to a conservative political group.
No one commented on his name.
I last met him in court in Brooklyn about 30 years ago.
We had both become lawyers.
I don't imagine that he is too happy with his name today.

Politicians are all too human. Unfortunately most politicians also possess far greater egos than most of the rest of us. When caught in lies the ego leads them to create fabrications. That isn't a function of left/right politics, that is a function of they're being way too human.
