Thinking of you today, (((((Diane))))), and others who truly loved Bob. He is missed. He is still loved, as are you. He is still here in so many ways.

@Izzie,
Izzie, that's magnificant.

From the day we met, it seemed like Bob and I often shared some unspoken understanding. Miss Bob, and miss those moments.

I can't believe it's been a whole year. Miss Dyslexia's caustic but always insighful posts; miss his telling me, "I never liked you anyway." PMs on silly subjects and sometimes on no subject at all.

@roger,
I just talked with Diane this morning. She knows she has friends' thoughts today...

I'll add a photo of a plant Bob was very fond of -

Not his hand, as most know, but the best photo I could find.

I should add that if anyone tries to call her and she doesn't answer, her phone has been taken by a space ship company this week, but she is expecting it to be fixed today.

@Frank Apisa,
I just got home from the hospital and I will call Diane to get her butt over here so we can talk and feed her. She can even bring Sally dog, too.

PS:

Diane beat me to the phone and just called. She and Sally dog will be coming about 4 and Butrflynet will make a nice dinner for her. Sally will have to be satisfied with dog biscuits.

@roger,
Diane and Sally dog arrived at 4 pm. The doggies played while we chatted to catch up with events.

Diane got a surprised. We told her she had to help Butrflynet good our dinner. She made the best hamberger's I've had in a long time, just medium brown just like Bob liked. I could only eat half of it and Butrflynet go the other half. Butrflynet made my favorite peas in the mint jelly she makes for the mint in our garden. And our darling Diane washed and dried the dishes and pans and cleaned the kitchen. Such a good friend. Even Sally dog didn't pee on our rug.

We topped our evening by watching "The Iron Lady" film on our TV.
Meryl Streep has to be our best and most talented actress.

Butrflynet just woke up so I'm off to take my shower.

Thanks to all who sent good wishes my way and thanks for your thoughts of Bob--I never tire of hearing them.

I think of Bob and dream of him often. I still miss him terribly, but his loss isn't as painful as it used to be.

Love to all.

@edgarblythe,
Same here Diane dear. Thanks Edgar for reminding me. I had a very busy day, and it's nice now to direct my mind to Diane and all the rest of her (our) little community in Albuqueque. I often think of Dyslexia, especially of an image I have of him driving speeding in his Porche on the freeway with me driving beside him trying to get his attention so that I could give him the camera he left at my house. He looked SO happy on the road back to Diane.

going through some music today and found this tune

reminded me of bob

And i have visions
Like scars are in the sky
Boiling water is running from your eye
And all our trouble
Cannot be gone too soon
A cowboy on the moon
And i am stupid
I clutter up my mind
I'm always sorry
For somebody left behind
And i will write you
When i can find the time
A cowboy on the moon
