One good thing is that he still hasn't left me. We still love each other.

Not a day goes by without my thinking about you, diane.
I continually see Bob's image on my facebook. I like being in touch that way. Thank you for not altering his account.

I can't believe it will be a year tomorrow. My thoughts are with you, Diane as you reflect back on a year without Bob. You learn to cope, but I am sure not a day goes buy that you're not reminded of him, talking to him and feeling him near by. Bob always will look out for you and be with you!

BBB is coming home from the hospital tomorrow morning and Diane called me this afternoon to see if I needed help with getting her out of the car and into the house. I told her I thought we'd be fine and I could ask one of the neighbor's girls to help lift her out of the car if it was needed. Diane will be coming over in the afternoon to hang out a bit and help with things.

I'm going to see if we can talk her into staying for dinner.

A few days ago, she and BBB had a very nice, long visit at the rehab hospital and they both got to talk about things that only another "woman of a certain age" would understand. It was good for both of them.

Diane -- The first time I visited you, Bob showed me a huge apricot-colored rose growing on a bush along one side of your backyard. He said he thought I would like it. I wondered then how he could know that my favorite roses have always been apricot ones. Today I passed another rosebush a few houses away from mine. On it was a huge apricot-colored rose in full bloom. It was as if Bob had said hello. I walked the rest of the way home thinking about this anniversary.

Much love to you.

@Diane,
Miss him too. As I write, I'm looking at the tiny quartz owl, a Native-American talisman, that he gave me on my last visit. Hugs to you and Sally.

@Diane,
Had to look something up a couple of days ago that required me going through some of my old threads.

Dys spoke to me several times during the search--sharing observations on what I was selling.

I had forgotten just how able he was to explain complex thoughts so that they could be understood without question.

And how he was able to do so using so few words!

Whew!

I loved the ole bear.

Love you, too, Di.

My thoughts are with ya!

f.
