@Mame,
It was so good seeing him posting more and the spelling let us know his head was working better again.

There is a particularly lovely, luminous photo of Bob...maybe with a little girl?...that I remember was posted once that I must find.

That and him flipping da bird probably represent him best for me.

I am so sorry he was in pain....had hoped that was over.

@Diane,
I'm so sorry to hear this, Diane! You know how much Bob and I enjoyed hanging out. I always admired him for how long he hung in there in spite of his incredible skinniness, so now I can't quite bring myself to believing that he's done hanging in. I wish you all the best in dealing with the mourning period. And if there's any way I can help, let me know.

I think that was a photograph of Bob with shewolf's daughter Gillian, Deb.
It's a very beautiful, touching photograph, I agree.

It took a lot of courage to post that sad news.

We are all here for you in the days to come.

This Tao meditation has helped me, as I deal with the 2nd anniversary of my husband's death:

Why mourn for a cocoon
After the butterfly has flown?

Diane, I am taking the liberty of having you dedicate this one to Bob.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCrWxKoOhH8&feature=related

My love, you are you my love
I hear your voice,
And I listen to the sea.
It sounds just like your breathing
And all the love you want to give me
This love
That is there, hidden
Hidden among the waves
All the waves in the world
Just like a boat that....

Look at this world
Spinning with us
Even in the dark
Look at this world
Spinning for us
Giving us hope,
And some sun, sun, sun,
Some sun, sun, sun.

Look at this world
Spinning with us
Giving us some sun,
Mighty sun
Mighty sun
Mighty sun

So many great people have remembered him on the radio thread.

WOW, horrible news.

I was thinking about him this morning. And it is one of those times when one gets back to magical thinking: he must have sent vibes all over the world on his final day.

He was a great community member, and very very nice in person. A good soul, a funny man, a smart person.

3 dislexia moments; 2 of them live, 1 of them on-line:
*talking with him at Asherman's house about Zachariah, the zen rock western. Man, he grabbed so well the (somewhat nutty) content!
*getting a very early morning ride to the airport in his big gas-guzzling, cigarette smelling car with a big dreamcatcher on front. He woke up before 6:00 am to make me a favor.
*When my mom died, he sent a brief message: "Mom", it said. And a hug. It was very touching.
Thankfully I could give Bob some support when a jerk (who left the site, hopefully for good) was giving him bad times, making him cry.

May dys catch all his dreams.
And may Lady Diane be conforted with our hugs and kisses. Bob was not an easy guy, but he was a damn great person. I am sure he was worthwhile.

summer, perhaps:
fall,possibly;

tulips, forgotten.
Hummingbirds hatched.
Known, for awhile.

Diane,

I am so very sorry to hear this. Though I often lurked in the shadows I often follow the threads on the forums. He has so many friends here and truly will be missed.

@fbaezer,
I have no eloquent words. So many of you have spoken so well.
Diane, you have all the love and sympathy I can muster. My thoughts are with you now and in the coming days. May you be comforted by those you love from here, there and everywhere.
