@Diane,
That is so very good to hear, Diane.
It has been a tough time for you, I know.
I'm glad things feel gentler now.

I am excited by your travel plans.
Please keep us posted!

I didn't know either of you except for this site and I often think about you. Just know you both touched many lives.

@trying2learn,
Di continues to touch lives in the very best way. I wish I could elaborate.

@trying2learn,
You have my thanks for bothering to read this site. It does give you a good idea of how loved Bob was and I sort of basked in his company.

Butrflynet went to the trouble of posting many of Bob's posts ove the years. It is well worth reading to get an idea of the man and how loved he was by so many people

Forgotten? not an option

I think many of us have some message from Bob that we're saving - whether it's a PM, or a FB poke, or an email ...

at first they were startling to come across, now they invoke happy memories and smiles

Truly. Precious man. Loved that he noticed even me. He most assuredly will always be remembered.

Diane,
I have been reading along and am so thankful you are finding it easier. I can't imagine it will ever go away - that feeling of longing for him back. But I am glad you are staying busy and have plans. I know he is happy about that too.
My thoughts are with you.

Missy

As we go through life, people come and go. Some make an impact that stays with us for life, others were eminently forgettable, with every one else in between.

I am proud to say that I knew Bob, met him in person a few times, and spent many happy hours kibbitzing with him. He is one individual whose essence will stay with me for the rest of my life.

@Phoenix32890,
Kibbitzing was one of Bob's favorite things and he appreciated anyone who could give as well as take. You, along with a few others, were one of his favorite kibbitzers.

I didn't realize how much I missed by not posting for such a long time. I am deeply saddened to learn of Bob's passing and I would like Diane to know my heart goes out to her. Even though members are from all over, A2K makes it possible to form a family of sorts, like most families we get irritable or festive or all sorts of feelings. But when one of the members leaves, a little hole gets punched in our hearts. I hope Diane is doing as well as she can....I am just so sorry to hear this terrible news. glitterbag

@demonhunter,
I'll be straight with you DH.

You're nothing but a nuisance and a waste of my reading time.
I'm gonna report you and if others do the same we'll have you outta here in the time it takes to squash a cockroach.

See ya buddy

@glitterbag,
Thank you for your good wishes, they mean so much now that I'm without Bob.

Also, thank you for your response to (is it demon head?), it gave me a laugh.
