@JLNobody,
What a lovely way to put it. Most of the time, it was really true.

@Dutchy,
Dutchy, one of my favorite people from oz.

I'm doing well, thank you. And how are you?

I need to start playing the word games again. Good people and no politics.

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
Osso is making bread of some sort yet to be determined...
if worse comes to worse (been having some mixed results lately), she'll buy some nice soda crackers.
Kidding, but that reminds me, I've a plan to make sardinian pane carasau.. one of these days. Not for Thanksgiving, though.

Hi, McTag and Walter and Ulla!

@ossobuco,
Our Thanksgiving dinner has been changed from Diane's house to our house. Butrflynet will prepare the dinner. Diane will bring Bob's favorite coconut pie.

Thaank you alll so much for your Thanksgiving good wishes. I haven't checked into a2k for so long that I'd lost track of all you lovely people.

I backed out of fixing Thanksgiving dinner at my house because I was feeling particularly lonely without Bob and didn't want to bring anyone else down with me. When BBB called and said that butrflynet had just taken out a turkey and that I sould come to their house, I accepted the invitation with gratitude.

We had a fabulous dinner, with good company and good conversation.

Thanks again to Lyn and Luella for their kind invitation and to Osso for adding to the pleasant evening.

@Diane,
Glad you went out.....these first big holiday times after such a death are so tough.

I am happy you had a good time.

In Berlin, we visited an "upscale" Christmas market. And there, the even 'more upscale" arts and crafts section.

One of the jewellery stalls was selling jewellery made of semi-precious stones.
The owner asked Ulla, if some of her jewellery was from Arizona and/or New Mexico - she had lived for 9 years in Albuquerque and got her design ideas from there.

Thanks, Bob, for teaching me the differences in Indian jewellery ...
