Oh boy, that excuse that the ACA was a Republican idea. Oh boy. I guess if you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth.

Check the history,, Baldimo. I live in Massachusetts, so we got a full does of Romneycare and its antecedents as it was proposed and passed, and then the same with Obamacare and its antecedents. It's true. I'd say you're the one with the lies.

Four Pinocchios to Obama for “500 Republican filibusters” claim

Quote:
“Here’s what’s more disconcerting. Their [Republicans] willingness to say no to everything — the fact that since 2007, they have filibustered about 500 pieces of legislation that would help the middle class just gives you a sense of how opposed they are to any progress — has actually led to an increase in cynicism and discouragement among the people who were counting on us to fight for them.”

Obama has a problem. He can't move his lips without lying. And he expects people to trust him?

Quote:
But even if one counted all of those as filibusters, Obama’s claim still wouldn’t make any sense. Kessler counts up the actual filibusters — not just on legislation but all such actions — and gets 133 of them, not 500. Where did Obama get “over 500″?

Wrong again that would be the Obama administration that said you would not lose your plan and doctor. Did Romney ever make that promise? This is the second time I asked you.

@coldjoint,
That's interesting since the Senate itself agrees with Obama. But don't let the RW bloggers tell you the truth, Pinkie. We wouldn't want to burst your fantasy world.

http://www.senate.gov/pagelayout/reference/cloture_motions/clotureCounts.htm

Since 2007 there have been 528 motions filed for Cloture.

@bobsal u1553115,
It's not only about the American deaths in Iraq, it's about the current issues of our day that the GOP prefer to play politics rather than the problems facing our country that most Americans want solved.
1. Jobs
2. Gun control
3. Immigration

They say they want to get to the bottom of why four American were killed in Benghazi, and they tried to repeal ObamaCare 53 times. They are the worst performing congress in history since 1943, and they wonder why our country is falling behind most developed countries in education and economics.

While they work to destroy Obama, they are also destroying this country. They are blinded by their own stupidity!

Obama is destroying the country. And everyday it shows a little more. And Republicans are right to go after the disastrous policies of his and him too.

It is the way a two party system works and has always worked. Obama suppressing the Conservative message has backfired on Democrats. Anymore attempts will be front and center in the Republican message. People just do not like liars and cheaters. And those kind of people have been proven to be all this administration has. November will show that Obama has crippled his own party.

Gohmert: Comcast Blocking The Blaze for Political Reasons

One more example of the liberal progressive censorship forced on Americans.
Quote:
Congressman Louie Gohmert (R-TX) drilled Comcast’s chief lobbyist David Cohen about the company’s apparent efforts to block a generous purchase offer by conservative network The Blaze. Gohmert presented an email from a representative of the channel The Blaze was attempting to buy (RLTV) that specifically cites Comcast’s political motives for blocking the deal. After Cohen denied the allegations, Gohmert reminded him of the consequences of lying to Congress.

RLTV is in dire financial trouble, currently in debt to Comcast $20 million. The Blaze has not only offered a good purchase price for the struggling channel, but even offered to pay RLTV’s full debt to Comcast. Despite the seemingly no brainer terms, the purchase has been blocked.

Congressman Gohmert began his question to Cohen by reading the following email from an RLTV representative that underscores the political nature of Comcast's denial of the bid:

http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/gohmert-comcast-blocking-blaze-political-reasons#.U2zyUpIUHQs.twitter

As I have said before, the Conservative message has the left worried and all these attempts to silence it make it clear the alternatives are better than we have now.

The Pope calls for the redistribution of wealth. How many GOP members of congress are Catholics? NONE.

From AP.
Quote:
On Friday, Francis called for the United Nations to promote a "worldwide ethical mobilization" of solidarity with the poor in a new spirit of generosity.

He said a more equal form of economic progress can be had through "the legitimate redistribution of economic benefits by the state, as well as indispensable cooperation between the private sector and civil society."

This is about as comical as the GOP's performance as our representatives - as the least productive congress since 1943.

OMG, Pinkie. Did you really just say that?

This is from the Senate website.

Cloture

The cloture rule–Rule 22–is the only formal procedure that Senate rules provide for breaking a filibuster. A filibuster is an attempt to block or delay Senate action on a bill or other matter. Under cloture, the Senate may limit consideration of a pending matter to 30 additional hours of debate.

I did. One is a filibuster, one is stop it. Two different things. Dumbass.

Quote:
Even then, while Obama referred to “500 pieces of legislation,” the same bill can be subject to as many as three cloture motions, further inflating the numbers.

And of course the Obama math kicks in. The guy is a ******* liar, and you are a low life shill.

Nancy Pelosi: GOP Investigation of Benghazi is Disrespectful to the Families of Americans Killed in Benghazi

Oh, ok. Really?

Was lying about the cause of their deaths disrespectful? How about joking about it?

The Democratic Party has really mastered doublespeak…

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi had a tough message for Republicans Thursday after GOP lawmakers pushed through legislation to create a special committee to investigate the Benghazi attacks.

“Republicans’ unending eagerness to exploit these deaths is disrespectful to their families and unworthy of the American people,” Pelosi, D-Calif., said. “Our nation deserves better than yet another deeply partisan and political review.”

And, she said, “It is clear that House Republicans will do anything to divert attention away from their failed leadership and do-nothing record.”

Failed leadership? What do Republicans control other than the House?

Do nothing record? What have Democrats done to bring the murderers in Benghazi to justice?

Democrats are clearly panicking about further investigations of what really happened in Benghazi.

I’m betting it had nothing to do with a YouTube video.

How much treasure do you want to spend to bring those terrorists who killed four Americans to justice? How much are you willing to spend to bring GW Bush to justice for starting the war in Iraq on lies? That war cost over 4,300 American lives.

How much do you want to spend on supporting people who do not want to work. How much foreign aid do you wish to send to people that hate us? How much does the security of this country matter to you?

It is not protected by weakness and half assed lies.
