@parados,

They think when employers are mandated to provide insurance they will stop providing insurance.

They will have that option. And they will chose what improves their bottom line. They will pay either way, but they will opt for whatever is cheaper. This law has people spit roasted. Ask Rex what that is, if you don't know.

Sure. The bottom line is why almost no companies in the US offer insurance. [/sarcasm]

There's your usual serious disconnect from reality here, cj. Consider the volumes of federal and state laws and regulations that do just that.

You don't seem to realize, even at 59 years of age, that your little memes have limitations.

@parados,
They would not offer insurance because of govt regulations making it to expensive to do so.

We know this is what the Dems want. They want the insurance industry to crash and burn so they can pass single payer and screw everyone equally. After all that is what it's all about.

Perhaps, but going to single payer will not fix most of the problem of the medical system.... poor efficiency, poor results, and unaffordable costs. I dont see either D's or R's working the problem, or even acknowledging it.

IRS, SSA Are Stealing Refund Checks from Children for Their Parents’ Old Debts

Obamas IRS is out of control.
Quote:
In a slightly different version of government totalitarianism, Veteran Gerrad Branum, who risked his life for our country, and who lost friends in the Twin Towers on 9/11/01, decided to do something about it and serve his country. He joined the Army and served for four years. He spent most of that time in Iraq.

On his way home, some of his equipment was lost, not through any fault of his.

The IRS confiscated $1500 of his tax return for equipment that was lost a decade before. It wasn’t even done within the legal time limit. Branum has filed suit.

This is tyranny. When a government can do whatever they want, take your money with no evidence or warning, it’s time to worry.

This happening under this administration and there is nothing being done about it. I would think this is even encouraged. When are Obama and his government thugs going to stop shitting on citizens? And why is this not an issue being looked into by Congress.

Does anyone want to bet the networks don't touch this(the last post) story? They completely ignored the Lerner contempt story except for a short blurb on the CBS morning show. This is a huge omission and a gutless move. I think this story will be another non-news or what we don't want Americans to hear story. Low information voters are the Democrats friend and they intend, with the help of the media, to keep them that way.

@coldjoint,
In a more accurate version of government totalitarianism, Veteran Gerrad Branum joined in the illegal invasion of Iraq and in all likelihood he has not apologized to the people of Iraq for participating in those heinous war crimes.

@coldjoint,
Congress isn't looking into it because Congress passed the law and Ronald Reagan signed it in 1982.

It seems it was just fine when Reagan was doing it. But let a black man enforce the law and suddenly the RW gets in a tizzy. Except when a black man isn't enforcing the law, then the RW gets in a tizzy for that too.
