Which one did I lie about?

Why are you complaining about Obama enforcing the law at the same time you are complaining that Obama isn't enforcing all the laws? Is it because you are stupid? Or is there another reason?

Where does that law say you are responsible for your parents debt? You have to remember, I am not a shill with talking points and links at my disposal.

There sure is. The laws he does not enforce increase tension and division and claims of racism. And I understand that is his plan. But it does not mean anyone has to remain silent about it.

Some responsible people think so, cj.

Britain will today make the final payment on a multi-billion-dollar loan it took out in 1945 to refinance the country in the wake of the Second World War.

@JTT,
Laughing No, that guy is too young. David is an elderly man.

This picture may be a shot of one of our younger members. You're guess is as good as mine! Laughing Mr. Green

By the way, as I'm a bit of a goofball, I love that mailbox! Of course, my wife would get upset if I bought one. Laughing

What are you going on about?
Are you claiming I provided a link that said anyone was responsible for their parent's debt? It seems you just make crap up and then convince yourself whatever you made up is true.

@coldjoint,
So you are upset when he doesn't use a law that puts brown people in their place but you get upset when he does enforce a law that costs white people money.

Why would anyone see you as a racist?

Why is it always about race with you guys? Always the first to bring race into something.

@Baldimo,
How do you see it when someone complains about a President not enforcing laws about brown people but then complains when different laws are enforced against white people?

I'm just curious what you see as the common thread. it certainly isn't an adherence to the law as the person claims.

Which laws are you referring too?

I didn't see race mentioned by CJ, I saw race mentioned by you.

@Baldimo,
Complaints that the law isn't being enforced when not everyone is deported.
Complaint that the IRS offset was enforced on a tax return reducing a tax return.

Both were laws. When you state y0u want all laws enforced, you are being hypocritical when you then complain about a law being enforced.

Tell me why you think someone would make the 2 conflicting complaints? What is the difference for the second law that would make it worthy of complaint when enforced?

Remember how bad the voter lines were on Election Day in 2012? In Florida, some stayed in line for over six hours.

And now, they won’t be able to use the bathroom. The Miami-Dade County Elections Department has quietly implemented a policy to close the bathrooms at all polling facilities.

Make no mistake about it. This is a political scheme to depress voter turnout in a heavily Democratic county, and it’s also probably illegal for violating basic disability law.

Urge U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate this new Florida voting rule which closes all restrooms at polling places on Election Day. SIGN THE PETITION HERE: http://wefb.it/7C1C98

Republicans don't have the same long lines at the polls. The Governor personally comes and picks up the republican districts votes with a silver platter while wiping their behind...

@parados,
Quote:
Both were laws.

Here is the law being changed by a Democratic Congress in 2008 so the IRS and SSA could collect debts over 10 years old in the farm bill. And vetoed by Bush.
Quote:
SENATE REPORTS: No. 110-220 accompanying S. 2302 (Comm. on Agriculture,
Nutrition, and Forestry).
CONGRESSIONAL RECORD, Vol. 154 (2008):
May 22, considered and passed House.
June 5, considered and passed Senate.
WEEKLY COMPILATION OF PRESIDENTIAL DOCUMENTS, Vol. 44 (2008):
June 18, Presidential veto message.
CONGRESSIONAL RECORD, Vol. 154 (2008):
June 18, House and Senate overrode veto.

So this type of collection is not a Republican thing at all. You have been caught in another lie.

The politically correct wolf in polite sheep’s clothing

Everyone needs to read this. Parados is politically correct. I am not.
Quote:
Political correctness is, at its core, a way to paint the world in terms that don’t tell the whole story. It shifts words around to make sure there are victims or dangers depending on the needs of the narrative. PC keeps opponents off balance. To randomly forbid certain words as derogatory makes good-hearted people reluctant to enter a discussion, so they’re effectively silenced through intimidation. A good person is not out to offend, and thus goes along with the change in his or her lexicon in order to remain polite.

The proponents of PC claim that it curtails the negativity directed toward a certain group or action. This is a myth. Like the terms it creates, political correctness isn’t what it claims to be.

PC does not stop hatred. It doesn’t change any minds. Inwardly, people will maintain their opinion. What it does is create sacred cows. It attempts to paint the subject at hand as a topic that needs to be handled with care. It must be discussed with caution, if not reverence.

In the end, political correctness lends help to no group. If we’re changing the terms by which a person, place or thing is defined because there are bad apples out there that wish to use words harmfully, then we’re not so much empowering the hated as we are the hater. The cycle of using words derogatorily will continue no matter the polite language you drag it through, and the term that was created to be “polite” will have to be painted as wrong to make way for a new term.

Freedom of speech is a liberty that the Right often defends vigorously, but if we allow the Left to define what constitutes socially usable words, we’re not defending it well enough.
