Tea Party Bursts Back to Life at Connecticut Gun Rights Rally

Quote:
Liberal authoritarianism is infamous for producing supposedly unintended consequences, as with the “antipoverty” programs that produce more poverty (and thereby more Democrat voters). Sometimes the consequences really are unintended — that’s when they are actually positive. For example, the gun-grabbers who have exploited the 2012 Sandy Hook shootings to infringe on our right to bear arms appear to have reawakened the Tea Party:

America is not dead. Neither is the Tea Party. We can still put an end to the Hopey Changey fundamental transformation if we rise up and make it happen.

The direction is always the same. You seem incapable of seeing the big picture.

Everything I post is to tear the liberal message to pieces, and show how dishonest and slimy the present administration is. And it minions, like Harry Reid and botox queen Nancy Pelosi.

And to show the lawlessness and thuggery they employ by turning government agencies into policy enforcers. Policy is not their job. Enforcing existing laws is. And the laws are being changed to enable even more one party control.

You are being used to help destroy this country, and you are to stupid to see that these methods will eventually be turned on you and others like you.

How Comcast Bought the Democratic Party
A huge merger brought about by high-intensity lobbying goes unopposed.

Quote:
Comcast, which employs more than 100 lobbyists, spent almost $19 million last year on lobbying activities. Its president and CEO, Brian L. Roberts, is a golf buddy of President Obama’s, and a Democratic donor who has contributed thousands of dollars not only to the president’s campaigns, but also to the Democratic party of Pennsylvania, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, the DNC Services Corporation, and to Steny Hoyer, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Bob Casey. Roberts’s executive vice president, David Cohen, is a former aide to Democratic bigwig Ed Rendell. Cohen skirts lobbying regulations through loopholes, has raised more than $2 million for Obama since 2007, and in 2011 hosted a DNC fundraiser at which the president called him “friend.” Cohen has visited the White House 14 times since 2010, including two visits to the Oval Office. He attended the recent dinner for President Hollande of France.

Advertisement
Cohen plays a major role in the Comcast Foundation, which has disbursed more than $3 billion since 2001, primarily to “groups that serve African-Americans, Latinos, and Asians” and other segments of the Democratic coalition. You will be surprised to learn that many of the groups to whom the Comcast Foundation has donated now support the proposed merger. Of the $33 million Comcast has spent on political campaigns since 1989, more than half, or some $18 million, has gone to Democrats. Barack Obama is No. 1 on the list of the top ten recipients of Comcast’s largesse. There are four Republicans on the list.

Comcast’s in-kind contributions to the Democratic party are more difficult to calculate. In a media environment that already tilts leftward, the NBC networks, which Comcast owns, distinguish themselves as especially pro-Obama. Comcast has one channel, MSNBC, which is almost entirely devoted to furthering the president’s agenda and the broader priorities of the American progressive movement. How do you put a price on the contributions of the invaluable Ed, Al, Chris, Chris, Rachel, and Lawrence? Where would the Democratic party be today without The Reid Report? They give so much.

The Koch brothers on steroids.

That was not an attack. It was an observation from looking at your comments.
You are way ahead in the attacks. They aren't doing anything to me. Since most agree with you already.

But the fact is nothing about me has anything to do with what I post, does it? The sources I use are just as valid and the spew that comes from liberal and progressive water carriers. And the sheer volume of those who agree that Obama is a failure is overwhelming. You guys just shout louder and have larger numbers here and in the carefully plotted take over of social networks. Progressives do nothing without gain.

Dr. Carson: Black America Must Reject the Welfare State

Quote:
In today’s culture, there are political forces that see the descendants of slaves as useful objects for maintaining their positions of wealth and power. By promising to care for their every need, they create dependency.

Frightening those dependents into thinking that they will be abandoned if others are in control, they create loyalty that is undeserved but fierce — loyalty that translates into the real goal: votes. Anything or anyone that threatens this paradigm of victim and protector must be destroyed, lest the victims recognize the deceitfulness of their manipulators and revolt.

The most dangerous people to the modern manipulators are people who have freed themselves from the plantation mentality. They eschew the propaganda of victimhood and advocate for personal responsibility. They see the true compassion of a hand up rather than a handout.

The tragedy is that many “leaders” of the black community succumb to the mesmerizing poison of the controlling elites, who make them feel “cool” and important. I’m sure that some actually realize what is happening, but — like the kids you remember in high school — don’t want to risk being ostracized and expelled from the “in crowd,” and, therefore, remain silent.

That wasn't Al Sharpton, or Jesse Jackson, although they are alluded to.

@RexRed,
I've been concerned about the surge in prisons since the 80's particularly because the public cost benefit analysis just isn't there. Rationality isn't there---and the concept of for-profit incarceration is an even greater disaster waiting to happen.

@coldjoint,
When did you decide to oppose big business?

You aren't consistent at all. You argue Obama is against business and then when business is allowed to create a near monopoly like it wants to, you attack Obama for being good for business. How much idiocy can you present here, Pinkie?

Lib Law Professor Alan Dershowitz On His Former Student Ted Cruz : “Off The Charts Brilliant”…

Kind of goes against all this idiot stuff.

Quote:
U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas): “Off-the-charts brilliant. And you know, liberals make the terrible mistake, including some of my friends and colleagues, of thinking that all conservatives are dumb. And I think one of the reasons that conservatives have been beating liberals in the courts and in public debates is because we underestimate them. Never underestimate Ted Cruz. He is off-the-chart brilliant. I don’t agree with his politics.”

@coldjoint,
How does that play into the major media story line that Cruz has been disowned by the conservatives for what is considered the blunder of the OCT shutdown? Of course major media also says that things are so dire for the D's that they might lose the Senate this year, so I would not accuse major media of consistency, but anyways......
