@coldjoint,
ColdDope my money would be on Frank---somehow I have ColdDope envisioned as a small man with small ideas. I don't know of ColdDope's physicality by I do know ColdDope ideas, and they are amazingly small.

So IMHO Frank is much larger than ColdDope.

I see ColdDope going home looking like a cuffed puppy.

This is what the shill is up to.

Talking about the Mozilla CEO being pressured out of his job because of his position against gay marriage, Krauthammer said tonight that this is the culture of the Left, doing the same thing with gay marriage that they are doing with Climate Change – destroying and marginalizing people who oppose them:

Quote:
This is the culture of the left, not being satisfied with making an argument or even prevailing in an argument, but in destroying personally and marginalizing people who oppose them, in the same way that proponents of Climate Change declare the issue closed, it’s over, there’s no debate, it’s settled science. And therefore anybody who is skeptical of that is considered anti-science and is called a denier a conscious way, to echo there’s some kind of moral or intellectual equivalent of denier of the Holocaust.

In the same way people are now declaring that the national debate we’ve had for a decade or two on gay marriage is closed and anybody who opposes gay marriage is a bigot and should be written out of polite society, ostracized and lose their jobs.

Intolerant, mean spirited, and completely morally bankrupt, and that is BY DESIGN. That is the progressive left.

Isn't it remarkable how many people think tolerating intolerance is actually tolerance.

It is also amazing how many people tolerate the double standards you live by. Or just tolerate evil.

I'd suggest that what Krauthammer characterizes as the culture of the left is precisely what the right has been trying to do nonstop to Obama for the last six years.

Well, let's see. Those people who are quitting Mozilla because they think the company should have tolerated their CEO's intolerance, which established the principle that tolerating intolerance is okay, are themselves NOT okay with tolerating the company's intolerance of their CEO's intolerance, which by their own argument they should tolerate. By your reckoning, joint, then, they are all employing a double standard of the worst sort. All those people quitting Mozilla, then, must be evil.

Did he harass gay workers? Did anyone even know until his donation was made public? It sounds like you support bullying. Typical, it is alright when gays do it.

I hope the Reps are pushed out of office.

Consider that the Reps have investigated the administration ad nauseam, and have come up with nothing. There has not been a single indictment, impeachment, or whatever despite all the money and time wasted on the Rep investigations.

Consider Fast and Furious, Benghazi, the IRS, etc., and the Reps have found nothing wrong.

Shouldn't this be enough to dump the Reps? I think so.

He should join this forum. He would have plenty to say.

On Brendan Eich’s Defenestration by Robert P. George 4 . 3 . 14
[Blogs]

Mozilla has now made its employment policy clear.

No Catholics need apply.

Or Evangelical Christians.

Or Eastern Orthodox.

Or Orthodox Jews.

Or Mormons.

Or Muslims.

Unless, that is, you are the “right kind” of Catholic, Evangelical, Eastern Orthodox Christian, observant Jew, Mormon, or Muslim, namely, the kind who believes your religious or philosophical tradition is wrong about the nature of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife, and the view now dominant among secular elites is correct. In that case, Mozilla will consider you morally worthy to work for them. Or maybe you can work for them even if you do happen to believe (or should I say “believe”) your faith’s teaching—so long as you keep your mouth shut about it: “Don’t ask, don’t tell.”

You are disqualified from employment, however, if you reveal your alleged “bigotry” and “cause pain” by stating your convictions. And you are certainly disqualified if you do anything to advance the historic understanding of marriage as a conjugal union in the public square. You see, that’s what Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich was discovered to have done—he made a contribution of $1000 to the successful effort to defend marriage in California in 2008. Like the majority of California voters, he thought it best for the state to retain its conjugal marriage law. Recently that historical fact came to light. And in less than a week Eich was gone.

You can bet it’s not just Mozilla. Now that the bullies have Eich’s head as a trophy on their wall, they will put the heat on every other corporation and major employer. They will pressure them to refuse employment to those who decline to conform their views to the new orthodoxy. And you can also bet that it won’t end with same-sex marriage. Next, it will be support for the pro-life cause that will be treated as moral turpitude in the same way that support for marriage is treated. Do you believe in protecting unborn babies from being slain in the womb? Why, then: “You are a misogynist. You are a hater of women. You are a bigot. We can’t have a person like you working for our company.” And there will be other political and moral issues, too, that will be treated as litmus tests for eligibility for employment. The defenestration of Eich by people at Mozilla for dissenting from the new orthodoxy on marriage is just the beginning.

Catholics, Evangelicals, Orthodox Christians, Mormons, observant Jews, Muslims, and others had better stand together and face down the bullies, and they had better do it now, or else they will be resigning themselves and their families to a very unhappy status in this society. A very unhappy status indeed. When tactics of intimidation succeed, their success ensures that they will be used more and more often in more and more contexts to serve more and more causes. And standing up to intimidation will become more and more difficult. And more and more costly. And more and more dangerous.

.You idiots are feeding monsters.

Similarly, today, White "liberals" have decided to sell out liberalism to the leftist, totalitarian goons of the Progressive Speech Police. They'll join the Progressives' hate campaigns against free speech and free thought -- but only when those campaigns are directed towards non-liberals.

Playing to the Progressive mobs just like Luegar played to the Vienna ones, White Liberals reserve themselves the power to both traffic in hateful intolerance, and except themselves and their friends from the claims they otherwise inflict on others.

They, and they alone, will decide who the Racists are.

The administration is not transparent, but you people are.

My math isn't a joke. It's similar to the birthday problem
http://www.mathsisfun.com/data/probability-shared-birthday.html

Like the birthday problem, it only takes about 265 people with the same name to have a 70% chance that one pair shares the same birth date, day and year, if you assume 80 year life span. In a country of 315 million people, if we assume 265 million people share a name with 265 other people then there is a 70% chance that there are one million instances where people share names and birth dates.

It only takes 48 people with the same name and birth date to have a 70% chance that one pair will share the last 4 digits of their SS numbers.

A little intuition would tell you that would mean there are tens of thousands that share name, birth date and last 4 digits of their SS number.
