I am just returning the favor. That level of arrogance I encountered on my first day here is exactly what I have, and will continue to return. You call it whatever you want.

No, gunga, stupid right wing blather again, as usual.. What she was saying was that we've been here for about four hundred years (right. Jamestown 1607, Mass. Bay colony 1620). And the majority of that time, and certainly til today, we've been governed by the Constitution. Only right wing zealots would construe and misinterpret it purposefullyk, the way you and the loons you read do

Watch the video. She said we have been operating under the Constitution for 400 years. That is all, no other reference or clarification.

She is a hack and so stupid she couldn't find her asshole with radar

Texas’ National Treasure, Sheila Jackson Lee, Thinks the US Constitution is 400 Years Old

Quote:
“Maybe I should offer a good thanks to the distinguished members of the majority, the Republicans, my chairman and others, for giving us an opportunity to have a deliberative constitutional discussion that reinforces the sanctity of this nation and how well it is that we have lasted some 400 years, operating under a constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what is not,” she said.

There is her direct quote

@coldjoint,
Wow, they really must raise them stupid in Texas. After all Tom Delay, former US Republidumb Congressman from Texas, recently said that Gawd, not Madison, wrote the US Constitution.

There must be something in the water that can suck brains right out of their rock like Texan heads.

It's a good thing that we don't elect an Texan President. Their inherent stupidity could really screw up the nation by getting the country into unnecessary wars; enact useless legislation in the name of patriotism that attack freedom and liberty; cut taxes for people that already have most of the tax cuts; and create new bureaucrats that accomplish nothing but interfere with the free passage of citizens through the rest of the country.

Perhaps we should just give Texas back to Mexico.

This is a Colddude inspired modest proposal.

Rap

@raprap,
Rap: by getting the country into unnecessary wars;
//////////

Is there something that y'all have against calling a spade a spade? Those two, like all the others, were not wars. They were crimes against humanity, a very different issue.

It really isn't always about the USA and its inhabitants. Iraqis and Afghans are people too.

So, it all boils down to the question of "Who started it?" (the arrogance, that is). Class, your assignment today is to answer that question. Do any of you know what to do in order to find the answer to this question?

(Bubba raises his hand.)

Yes, Bubba?

Look up the very first posts Coldjoint submitted and the replies he received. Check to see if Coldjoint was civil or trollish, or if those who responded to his posts were rude and intolerant. That's the way to answer your question.

That's correct, Bubba! That's very insightful of you!

Yes, 'm.
