Pretty blue out in Mass.

In 2008 again?

Would you look at that Massachusetts debt is only 95 billion. 1/3 of what Texas debt is.

What makes you think your information is right parados? I see many different opinions. But the winners all seem to be blue states, don't they?

@coldjoint,
That's what Americans like to call folks who tell the truth.

He could have been one of the hundreds of thousands of US academics who lie their asses off directly or lie by omission and silence (like a lot of A2Kers) to maintain their position in society.

To his great credit Howard Zinn chose honesty.

You, not so much.

@coldjoint,
Civil disobedience is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience. Our problem is that people all over the world have obeyed the dictates of leaders…and millions have been killed because of this obedience…Our problem is that people are obedient allover the world in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war, and cruelty. Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves… (and) the grand thieves are running the country. That’s our problem.

I notice how completely unable you are to address any topic beyond spouting your little vacuous memes, cj.

This denial of the truth simply makes you a world class liar.

@coldjoint,
Consider just how vacuous your statement was when you put it in perspective. How many hundreds of millions of Americans believe the lies about the USA.

How many more know, like you, and sit silent, or worse, make excuses for the deep unabiding evil relentlessly perpetrated by the USA upon the innocents of the world.

Now that is deeply despicable.

What has clearly changed is the debt in Texas has gone up 8 times from what it was in only the last 5 years. Notice who is running that state in the last 5 years.

Quote:
Perry speaking at CPAC in Washington D.C., February 9, 2012
47th Governor of Texas
Incumbent
Assumed office
December 21, 2000

Meanwhile the debt in Massachusetts has only gone up about 33%.

So to recap.. Texas debt up 800% since 2009. Massachusetts debt up 33%
That is why you should use updated numbers TPP. It appears Texas now has the third highest debt of the states behind California and NY. Clearly Texas has the fastest growing debt in the last 5 years.

No, they aren't better because the debt in Texas is going up 4-5 times faster than in California or NY.

@parados,
California may have a high debt compared to other states, but we also have the 8th largest economy in the world that has been helping our state with healthy tax revenues. The financial pundits are saying that Silicon Valley will continue to grow economically this year, and that translates to higher tax revenue for the US and the state in addition to reducing our unemployment rate.

If you cared about the future and debt, we wouldn't be having this conversation. The system has been targeted for destruction by this administration. And they are well on their way to accomplishing that.

And the fact remains California is still in serious trouble, as is New York.
