IRS hearings: ‘This scandal is not over. The lying has not stopped.

This is a serious breach of trust and not a Fox news driven scandal. The attempt(actually the success) of silencing opposing views through IRS intimidation is a crime.

The changing of the law now does not negate the crime.

Mitchell, attorney for an assortment of Tea Party groups that received very special attention from Barack Obama’s politicized Internal Revenue Service, lowered the boom on what she described as a “sham, non-existent” Justice Department investigation of the scandal during House Ways and Means Committee hearings on Thursday:

“I want to make three primary points here today,” said Mitchell. ”First, the IRS scandal is real. It’s not pretend, it’s real. Number two, the IRS scandal is not just a bone-headed bunch of bureaucrats in some remote office contrary to what the President of the United States told the American People on Sunday. And, number 3, the IRS scandal is not over. It is continuing to this day. And the Department of Justice Investigation is a sham. It is a nonexistent investigation.”

@coldjoint,
Cj: Spending other peoples money is not a solution. It just compounds the problem.

/////////

You blithering idiot. You're simply repeating a right wing nut case meme you've heard from some right wing nut case tv or website.

Do you have the slightest idea how much "other people's money" goes to slaughtering innocents around the world? How much of that money enriches the evil USA arms makers and arms dealers?

What an abysmally ignorant sheeple!!

Telling that you have to reassure that it's not a Fox News driven scandal.

Cj: The changing of the law now does not negate the crime.

Neither does ignoring the law negate the myriad crimes of bush, bush , Reagan, Clinton, Truman, Eisenhower, Nixon, Johnson, Obama, ... .

And what would that have to do with most Red states being dirt poor?????

Being poor is different than billions of dollars in debt?I guess it is, and has nothing to do with red states except that they choose not to over extend themselves to buy votes.

Spending other peoples money is not a solution. It just compounds the problem.

Whether or not any blue states have financial trouble...has absolutely nothing whatever to do with the question that was asked.

Try to keep up, CJ. Lagging will only get you further lost.

Actually, often "spending other people's money" is a solution. If I were to spend YOUR money, it would be a great solution for me.

Texas has billions more in debt than Illinois does.

But when it comes to the poorest states...
http://247wallst.com/special-report/2012/09/20/americas-poorest-states-2/2/

Interesting little fact, of the 10 poorest states in that list only one, New Mexico, has had majority vote for a Democrat in any of the last 4 Presidential elections.

Never fear, gas is here. Massachusetts legislators have a scheme to get out of debt by squeezing motorists — with a gasoline tax.

Both blue states.

What makes you think your information is right parados? I see many different opinions. But the winners all seem to be blue states, don't they?

The States of California and New York who have voted overwhelmingly for "Bigger Government and Democratic Candidates and programs" have piled up enormous debts. The governator who is "sleeping with the democrats" literally and figuratively is begging for a state bailout for California. The Hollywood rich crowd and the wealthy New Yorkers also live in the states with the most public debt. Maybe Obama can spread their wealth for them - BUT DON"T COUNT ON IT!!! His state Illinois is 3rd - See graph on site linked below.

That was back in 2008 when the Texas debt was 33 billion. I realize you prefer to live in the past TPP but the rest of us live in the present.

This is 2014. Texas debt is 268 billion. Look at that. The GOP has made Texas debt more than octuple in 5 years. (8 times)
