Mr. Narrative. You people are the idiots.

And it is interesting how you arrogant people can't even call someone a real name. Emasculated sheep.

What we have above is an interesting tactic employed by Mr Joint. When someone calls out his idiocy he automatically throws out some random claim. When asked to provide even a modicum of proof for his assertions, he defaults back into his negative name calling and character assassination, whilst conveniently forgetting to provide even a shred of unbiased and legitimate evidence.

This subject is a very complex little pumpkin.

Hi troll. If you can read, he called me a name first. Perhaps he should work on illegally obtaining personal information and prank calls like you did at Amkon?

@coldjoint,
I'm curious as to which position you take cj.

Do you think CPI is under reported as the source of the statistics you are claiming to be accurate postulates or do you think CPI is over reported as the GOP in congress claim when they want to change CPI reporting to save money by reducing the CPI increases when it comes SS payments? One can't take both positions.

Do you think SS payments should be 40% higher as Shadow Statistics claims on the link from the piece you posted?

Whatever Obama has to say about the Affordable Care Act—Obamacare—will be a lie. His administration continues to lie about the number of those who have enrolled, but we know they are mostly the elderly while the younger generation wisely avoids it.

We live in a nation where more than 90 million Americans are out of work, cannot find work, or have given up looking for work. Anything Obama has to say about the economy will be a lie.

@coldjoint,
I'm still waiting for you to come up with one true fact to support your claim about illegal immigrants. You presented us with one that was clearly not factual and then went off on multiple tangents to avoid admitting you lied.

I guess everyone did quit that scumbag forum. No one for you to talk to? Laughing Laughing Laughing

So you think it is OK for you to lie because you say Obama did it? I didn't realize Obama was your role model.

You are like a 5 year old cj. You can't make a logical argument. Your attention span is short. You attempt to rationalize your lies by claiming someone else did it first.

@Frank Apisa,
On the other hand it might be that the wealth capture by the rich has happened primarily because technology is steadily removing the need and value of human workers, which would be the first time that technology did this, and politicians of all stripes are relatively powerless to do anything about it because of the ease of product and wealth transfer.

Blaming R's is easy and is also productive for some, but it might not be relevant to the actual problem.

As you know, Hawk...I have written extensively on this issue. Technology has made the value of human labor almost zero...and is primarily at fault.

That was not the focus of the picture and its caption.

And the captioned picture...IS A GEM.

I am not blaming them...and anyone who has read my essays about productivity and the decrease in value of human labor knows where I do put the blame.

But the picture was fun....at least for me.

Nonsense.
The jobs have been shipped overseas by our captains of industry.

Sorry Hawk...I thought I put the entire series here in A2K...but I did not. I did put one piece (of what I posted in another forum) here...and it can be found at:

http://open.salon.com/blog/frank_apisa/2008/12/08/there_will_never_ever_again_be

It talks about the problems for human labor caused by our technology.

The other forum (Open Salon) where I post (haven't been there in over a year) has the entire series. If you would like to read it, I'd love to have your opinion. Here are the links in order:

http://open.salon.com/blog/frank_apisa/2008/12/12/readers_digest_version--the_end_of_the_series

That first one, by the way, begins with:

There will never, ever again, be enough quality jobs (read that: high-paying jobs) available for all the people who need and/or want one. Never, ever again. Not in our country—nor anywhere else in the world. Free market dynamics will not produce them—nor will any president, congress, or legislative agenda either. The days when it makes sense to pay humans a living wage to do things that machines, robots, and computers can do more efficiently—at a higher rate of productivity—AND AT LESS COST (which includes the vast preponderance of all medium skill manufacturing jobs) are over. They are a thing of the past and will NEVER return.

(Which is right on point with what you were saying!)
