“The New Yorker” published a profile of President Barack Obama’s fifth year in office Sunday, covering a wide range of issues, including his sagging approval rating, which the president blames on the color of his skin.

He usually let's the media play the race card. At least he finally did something. Laughing Laughing Laughing

@coldjoint,
He would not be even be in the chair if he were not partly black, be has benefited from being black because this guy is such a phony prick that if he were a white guy he would not get elected. Even now people dont want to not like him, because he is black, which is how we get the numbers of 2/3 personally liking him and 2/3 thinking that he does poor work. Normally in America failure to produce gets you not liked, but being part black works as a prophylactic.

@hawkeye10,
The racism is real even if you won't admit it. Just as it is in the Senate and House...it's just gonna take another 30 years to bleed it out of our system I guess...just about the time your ilk is gone.

@panzade,
it has nothing to do with Obama, times have changed. A large number of economy runners used to firmly believe that the government debt level does not matter, and we had a lot less debt then. THis idea was always whack, and few believe it anymore. Since we now believe that we can not continue to run up the debt without bad consequences there is now an effort to control it. This effort would have taken place even if a white R was sitting in the chair.

Blaming the effort to control debt on the color of Obama's skin is classic victim culture fantasy.

Not everyone in the Republican Party is a acknowledged racist...

...but damn near every acknowledged racist I know is a Republican.

And I find that to be more telling than whether all are racists or not.

Thanks, Panzada.

There is a reason the most racist, misogynistic, homophobic areas of our country are so solidly Republican! The Republican Party may NOT BE THOSE THINGS...

...but the people who are feel that is the party most likely to feed their prejudices.

And luckily for you, if it isn't real the left will make it that way. Propaganda and distractions so no one sees the huge mess this president and Democrats have made of things.

Why you enjoy being lied to, and then repeat those lies, defies common sense.

..but the people who are those things feel that the Democratic Party is the political party most likely to feed their arrogance and the need to be cool.
No matter who pays for it.

Republicans and democrats will never go out of preference in our politics. Most people rarele change their party of preference - even when the basic theory of their party changes. That's been proven since Abe's time.
