This will not hurt Christie. It will help him given the way he was upfront and fired the dummy who did it.

How do you know "the dummy" ordered of her own volition the closing of the GWB lanes? Why do you refer to Bridget Anne Kelly, Christi's aide, as "the dummy"? Or that Kelly did not follow the governor's orders? Were you in the room? Were you an eyewitness to said event?

Do you have a link to support your assertion?

And is it a good sign that Christie hires dummies to such important positions? Smile

...and if he does hire "dummies" then he's surely an incompetent governor and stands indicted by his own actions.

Hey, Rabel, hadn't thought of it that way but should not be surprised. When Christi delivered the Republican Convention Keynote speech for Mitt Romney, Christi surprised the audience by talking more of his own accomplishments than those of the presidential candidate, Mitt Romney. The Romney camp were furious. It would seem the arrogant vain Chris Christi has an undue fascination with himself or he's so insecure he has this overriding drive to talk about himself.

I took it as Christie getting his 2016 nomination bandwagon rolling...still, it was a big clue wasn't it?

Like who could miss this "clue"?! Christi's keynote speech (more about himself) overshadowed the candidate, Romney. It was this, along with his obesity, and his refusal to return answers to key questions asked by the Romney team, which deemed Christi as unfit for the second spot on the ticket.

Christi was beside himself because he had not been chosen; when Sandy struck and Romney wanted a photo op in the afflicted state, Christi denied him the opportunity and instead, embraced Obama for the world to see......Chris's revenge on Romney.
