The fact that they are out on bail tells you that the incident was not near as serious as the public was led to believe. If there were explosives, they would have had to be disabled and taken to a safe place to be detonated. I don't know of instance where gasoline was used as terrorist weapon with the exception of Molotov cocktails used by rioters and during demonstration during the Vietnam War. Gas is transported for use in farming equipment or other constructing equipment that uses gas. It possible that someone saw something that was not out of the ordinary and said something. After the story made world headlines, they don't want to have egg on their face. You can always find some sort of law that was broken. I found obsolete laws on the books that nobody had any idea what the law was about, but you could be arrested and spend 30 days in jail for violating it.

There's also the paedophile working at the London embassy found in possession of child pornography who was spirited out of the country before Scotland Yard had a chance to question him.

These are all headline stories here, and Hegseth seems to want to make matters much worse.
