Do you think those that built the pyramids were paid employes? They used to kill the slaves that entombed the Pharaohs do you think they volunteered or were they slave labor?

Freedom can be lost all at once like when Germany overran Poland during WWII but usually it is a slow process where one group uses the power government to take the freedom of minority away. A good example was how blacks were deprived of their rights to even drink from the same water fountain that whites did and the government enforced those laws. There will always be groups that are able to gain the power of government to advantage their group. We must be forever vigilant; freedom must be carefully maintained. When freedoms are taking from a minority it is easy to say it does not affect me why should I worry. First, they posted the ten commandments in school, next bibles became mandatory, then they began teaching bible stories in some public schools, and it won't stop there. The ten commandments are one of the biggest religious icons of Christianity. If bibles are to be in school than so should 100s of other religious books so students can make an informed choice including satanism. Teaching bible stories is a direct and unvarnished teaching of Christianity in public schools.

In one court case the judge stated that if you had a Christian club in school than you could also have a club based on Satanism. It seems that Christianity newfound power could be double edged sword. Many teenagers who love horror movies would be attracted to Satanism. I wonder how many Christian parents would like their teenagers to be taught of the powers of Satin in a public school?

They were farmers who worked on the pyramids during the off season.

They wersn't slaves.

This is another misconception.

A lot of the builders were paid, highly skilled tradesmen with special dedicated housing.

They didn't kill the workers on the pyramids.

When challenged don't react like Trump and double down, do a bit of research first.

You like to have boxing matches and keep your opponent from fighting back. In the 1900s a tunnel was built through a mountain to divert the New River for hydroelectric. Massive number of workers begin to die. The cause was the sandstone dust which was a known cause of death for a thousand years. The engineers and bosses were provided with masks the employees did not have any. As soon as blasting was done the employees were forced back into the tunnel with the dust so thick you could not see. When employees became sick the sheriff was called and they were forced to work at the point of a gun. There was a shortage of land to bury the bodies.

When the case went to court a foreman testified that "we knew we were going kill those niggers we just didn't know we would kill them this soon." In this case the term niggers was used to describe Italians and other nationalities. Would you describe them as slaves? They were being paid but forced to work at the point of a gun. The treatment of workers did not change much from Egypt till New River.

The highly skilled are treated differently. In New River the engineers and the bosses didn't die they were given masks.

They did not kill the slaves? There would be several archologists who would disagree they found the bones.

You have no idea what a massive amount of workers it would take to quarry, move, and put in place the massive stone. Lokk at the farmland here. The population is extremely sparce and could never provide a massive workforce.

The farmland in your locale is irrelevant.

Egyptian agriculture was, and still is, reliant on the Nile and its pattern of flooding.

I think the discussion about the pyramids is irrelevant to the original point being made. In a way, something as amazing as the pyramids is a testament to providing labor with good working conditions! So different than people stuck in meaningless jobs, handing over money to the church, and voting against their own interests because they have been commanded to bow down to an authoritarian state presided over by a faux pharaoh.

Slave labor was still the heart of the south's economy in the 1800s and slaves were extremely common throughout history. When an army defeated another country, they made slaves out of the survivors. Egypt at the time of pyramids was a world power and there would have been far more slaves than farmers. According to the bible Egypt held slaves, they held the Israelites. Slave labor was the rule on big projects not the exception.

You would believe republican's explanation that there were no such things as slaves in the old south it was simply a job training program to help the blacks out. They are trying to get that in the history books so you can use it for research. History teaches us that slave-based economies were the rule.
The belief that a few farmers built the pyramids is absurd. That Egypt would not take advantage of its vast number of slaves is also absurd. Not everything that is written down is accurate, it is often just someone's opinion. Do you really believe that with all of the slaves Egypt had they would use farmers?

To believe what you say, you would need to abandon common sense in a slave-based world that Egypt would not use it vast number of slaves. You would actually believe that slavery never existed in the old south it was just a job training program to help the blacks out. The history books our being written now. If Egypt didn't use slave labor, they would have been the exception. If you were building the pyramids and you had a choice, would you pay for labor or use slaves? Money or the lack of it kills big projects slave labor could have been the difference between the pyramids and sand.

Interestingly, slavery in the US south was exclusively based on race, unlike other cultures which enslaved subjugated populations but at least granted that their captives were fully human.

Here's another fact for you.

God didn't reveal the 10 Commandments to Moses, they already existed in the Egyptian book of the Dead.

Your Bible got that one wrong as well.

Do you know why your source wants you to believe that only Egyptians built the pyramids. That was Egypt crowning achievement how would it look if slaves from other countries built the pyramids. He has a vested interest. The Israelis have already made the claim that they built the pyramids while they were held captive. There is a dispute about timeline, but you can be sure if it wasn't the Israelis, it was another group of slaves. Egypt was world class military power at the time they would have bought thousands of slaves a month and that is exactly the type of work slaves were used for. But we don't want hurt Egypt feelings we will let them have their illusions.
