I am certain that most communists might tell you something like this: It is not about victory; but about the political solution... Macarthy in his victory destroyed something essential to American Society... He helped to make certain that when change comes to America that it will come as a blood bath instead of out of reasoned discussions... To this day, no one can talk of the merits of socialism as a form of economy, and that means that when we do get socialism that it will not be the socialism of wealth, but the socialism of poverty....When we find we can only survive by sharing we will share; or kill, or both... I think it would be so much better if we could talk about things; but if others want to get out the political steam roller, I will get out of the way...

Let me try to say this another way... All that nonsense about commies hurt a lot of non-commies and pushed our politics far to the right while feeding the police state... And America deprived of free thought and of people who dared to think was injured, perhaps, even destroyed since we do not yet know the long term effects of the red scare...Look at how it is used even today to keep the people from their rights... Brand a product socialism and no one will buy it, even if they need it...When capitalism proves itself an injury to this country and a complete failure as an economy what makes anyone believe there will be any respect left to support the rich???

There shoud be an absolute MAXIMUM,
that no human taxpayer will ever pay more than $1,000,000.

If they aren't getting their money's worth then lets just change the government so we take all their money away. Then they will realize they WERE getting their money's worth.

Actually, it demonstrates how people with money should be willing to spend more money to keep their money since they have more to lose.
