@wim121,
You should most likely be in Texas.

So, is this a spoof?

I think it is. It seems pretty clear to me that the author is applying the American usage of the word "liberal", not the British usage.

I think you're on the right track with Australia!! They don't allow pesky dark-skinned people to emigrate without real trouble, and they're a former colony of your home country... Nice, warm climate...conservative government... perfect!

@contrex,
Les habitants ont leur propres façons de parler . . . je sais cette expression comme on le dit en France--en la belle province, on parle un peu différent . . .

@edgarblythe,
Coconut Island, which is located in Kane'ohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii.

I'm surprised there was no mention of Latin American Countries. Very paternal, very religious, low cost of living, property owners have it good unless there is a revolution, seems like a perfect fit. Peru seems like a good choice or southern Mexico.

Vatican City is a country, right? That conservative enough for ya?

Second choice, and maybe a good fit from your list of preferences...Iran.

@Irishk,
I have a faint memory that the Knights of Malta compound was considered a state for a while (don't trust me, just some reading).

San Marino, the republic, is probably already occupied, small and tall as it is.

Iran?

Poor dress choices..

@wim121,
Despite the great length & verbosity of your initial post,you fail to say why you are preparing to leave the UK.

@wayne,
Seriously though, I believe everyone is entitled to thier opinions, likes, dislikes, preferences etc. However, it appears as though you have a very well thought out vision of utopian life for yourself, good luck with that.

There's a live shot at it becoming one if things get any worse than they are now.

The original post and the subsequent ones by wim121 are, in my opinion, textbook examples of a troll in action.
