@realjohnboy,
Early yet, but that lead looks pretty comfortable.

@ehBeth,
I don't think we will follow your lead on that. Part of that is due to the fact that there often are significant elections and ballot initiatives in the western states which could be impacted if voters didn't bother to go to the polls if the east coast was reported early.

‘Everyone step on his toes!’ Gingrich security harasses Ron Paul supporter

"Noticing the awkward optics, Gingrich aides and security personnel swarmed Dillard, trying to intimidate him into moving. One of Gingrich's security agents stepped in front of him. When Dillard didn't budge, the agent lifted his heeled shoe over Dillard's bare foot and dug the back of it into his skin, twisting it side-to-side like he was stomping out a cigarette. Shocked, Dillard kept his ground and took a picture of the agent with his phone, which was quickly knocked out of his hand. Dillard slipped off his flip-flop to pick up the phone with his foot, and a Gingrich supporter kicked the sandal away..."

You missed the mark illustrating the possessive, which I have kindly added.

Of course it's a whole bunch of countries' futures that are bleak. With the ongoing war crimes committed against them, it couldn't be anything but bleak. With the ongoing terrorism being committed against them, it couldn't be anything but bleak.

No US president is ever held accountable. They have all committed various and sundry war crimes/acts of terrorism, which has resulted in the deaths of millions of innocent people - note how y'all whine and moan about a paltry couple of thousand.

@Rockhead,
Both Newt and Willard are great guys representing the US in the best light of politics here at home.

Will they shake hands after all this is done? LOL Maybe a kiss or two to make up.

@cicerone imposter,
It looks like Mitt Romney has won the Florida primary with a HUGE margin of victory. Newt Gingrich came in 2nd. Rick Santorum was a distant 3rd but still got almost double the votes of Ron Paul in 4th. I was secretly hopeful that Ron Paul would do better but I guess Florida Republicans are exceptionally stupid.

Gingrichm Santorum and Paul, thanks for playing. This is where you exit.

@jcboy,
Willard won big; Newt had his two daughters working on his campaign, because they believe their dad will make a great president.

I guess ethics violations charged by their own party doesn't mean much on the eastern seaboard.

@cicerone imposter,
Yep! After 3 meaningless, inconclusive races in Iowa (Christians, rednecks), New Hampshire (northeastern redneck enclave), and South Carolina (bigots, racists), we get to combine all of those things into 1 big state. Yes, friends, Florida gives you Christians, rednecks, bigots, racists, and even some displaced northern Republicans. Razz

@jcboy,
It's not quite over -- the results are still trickling in, and the panhandle area is probably more Newt-friendly (and Mitt-hostile).

I mean, Mitt won, that's pretty certain, but the final margin isn't known yet.

Looks like it's gonna be pretty big though.

Mitt: 48%; Newt: 31%; Santorum: 13%; Paul: 7% ---- 44% reporting
There were many districts reporting outcomes ahead of 8 pm.

@reasoning logic,
A little over 1/3d of Florida's population lives in the panhandle. I do not believe their votes are not going to make much difference to the current results.

@cicerone imposter,
A tiny section of the panhandle is in the central time zone.

Just listened to the first part of Mitt's victory speech to his people on NPR. The majority of what he said was BS rhetoric that he'll never be able to accomplish, and the majority of the slams he made against Obama were broad and only partially accurate.

And the audience ate it up. This country needs a lot more help than anyone in that room today could provide. Quite disheartening, really.

@Questioner,
I do enjoy watching Gingrich get slaughtered just because he is a bit more flagrantly bigoted than bigoted Romney, if I had to pick which std I wanted it would have to be Romney, less burning.

Hey, H2 Oboy predicted a photo finish between Mitt and Willard. He was backing Newt. Claimed he'd been for him and Cain all along. Looks like his predictive facilities continue at their usual high level. If he backs something, run fast because whatever it is is gonna collapse in ruin shortly thereafter. He thinks Obama is gonna be crushed in November. He thought Cain would win easily. Hah.

@MontereyJack,
waterjerk is not good at knowledge about politics; his choices are just the reverse of the popular vote, and it doesn't matter which political party he wishes to support or lambast.
