@OmSigDAVID,
How else would you expect the puppet to perform other than the way the puppet master instructs him?

There is no puppet master; some politicians take bribes once in a while,
but there is no puppet master.

Sometimes, taking the money (openly) has been perfectly legal.

If I were holding a public office
and if it were LEGAL to accept $$$$ under some circumstances,
I 'd at least earnestly consider it.

ALl thiose SOuthern Dems and GOPs that were subjects of largess of the Tobacco Companies, sure stalled any meaningful legislation on health and tobacco.

On another track. Seems like Herman the Pieman has admitted to paying this last ladies livibg expenses for several years without his wife knowing about it. I predict that, not only will Herman NOT be a candidate for president, he will NOT be a husband for many years longer

@farmerman,
Right little puritan macro-manager aren't you fm?

What meaningful legislation do you have in mind?

And what's so great about being a husband with a billion in the bank?

@farmerman,
Those were my thoughts as well, Herman Cain chasing all them women and still staying married.

Now if we can get the majority of the US citizens to realize that we need to divorce the republican and democratic parties in order to bring real change in society.

I am not sure if we are ready for that one yet.

Does government HAVE jurisdiction to DO that??????

I don 't believe that when the Founders created GOVERNMENT,
thay had any thawts about anyone 's HEALTH in mind.

That is NOT what government is FOR.

Well, we are ready to return to the freedom of the early days of this Republic.

That will be real good change in society.

@OmSigDAVID,
RL has a point, so many Americans slavishly believe everything they see on Fox News, when they should be slavishly believing everything they see on Russian Television. That's logic for you.

@OmSigDAVID,
Just scroll up and watch RL's videos. RT is Russian Television. It's not all bad, I sometimes watch it to get a balance, but unlike some, I don't just accept everything it broadcasts.

Russia Today is what's on. It's not so much what they spout but how they spout it because seeing somebody spout it who you know is just spouting gives you a better idea of the nature of the spouting when you don't know it's just spouting. Media has only one medium to swim in, staying with the goldfish bowl metaphor, and it can only survive by spouting.

It shows you what spouters look like. That Max Keiser is hilarious as is the bint by name of Stacy Herbert who I presume is modelling the female role exemplar for when Comrade Max's idiotic ideas are brought to fruition in actuality. Stacy looks the sort who can cane your arse and enjoy it.

@cicerone imposter,
Here's an interesting article about voice analysis and Cain's claim about telling the truth.

Some one said that Cain is going to quit today.
We shall see.

@OmSigDAVID,
Those claims are based on rumors; Cain's ego may allow him to keep running a lost race. He can still "promote" his book with free press.

@cicerone imposter,
He just quit the race. He's suspending his campaign.

He's going to continue to "be a voice"--through a Web site, that will no doubt promote and sell his book. Smile

@firefly,
The Des Moines Register will release a new poll on the Iowa caucus in about 7 hours. An early teaser from the paper reports that Herman Cain, who was favored by 23% of likely Republican voters a couple of weeks ago, has seen his support fall to 8% this past Wednesday. It was at 12% last Sunday.
It is anticipated - at least by me - that the new poll will have Paul at around 22% followed by Gingrich at 20% and Romney coming in at 17%.
Not good for Romney with the caucus just a month from today.
