@OmSigDAVID,
Did you happen to click on JPB's Roemer link above?

He sounds like someone I could get behind. I'm tired of the current crop of liars.

A book deal? More likely.

I just went searching for books written by the "other women" in these political scandals. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I can't find any. Other than a few column inches in an unauthorized biography, what do you have that fills out a book? It often seems that people claim someone is "looking for a book deal" when they want to discredit a woman but it seems like history says you'd do better trying to write a mystery novel instead.

@engineer,
Cain was the one who started to run his campaign to promote his book; it backfired on him on both fronts.

This has been the most baffling election season (when is not election season?) that I can remember. (not really been keeping up with it past the Clinton election so maybe there has been odder elections seasons) It is like by default of the disasters Romney is going to get the republican primary despite the almost desperate efforts and desires of the republican voters of him not to be and yet he alone has had the only shot of beating of Obama according to most polls. I mean, I kind of see why the republicans don't like Romney, there is nothing to like. He is so blah even when trying his hardest not to be. One thing, it has been a source of entertainment. On the other hand, Obama polls numbers have sunk so low they are lower than Carters. (I liked Carter too)

@realjohnboy,
I am a foreigner. Few words however doubt meanings. Sometimes things are like a balance. If we have challenges who knows the best phase and most importantly can any shift only change vulnerability in the present times need to be analysed? Well I am not talking about politics and you know. We always had great presidents who were best at their job and this is how the lead goes. Smile

Carter's lowest poll numbers were 28% approval.
When did Obama's get that low?

@parados,
Different time period. Gallup was doing a 'this point in their presidency' comparison, I think.

Newt is surging in all sorts of different state primary polls. But not in matchups vs. Obama, where he is consistently WAY farther behind than Romney.

Well lookee 'ere Waterspout. If Mr Obama is going down to the extent you are claiming, and it looks proper down, then the Race For The White House is here on this thread.

The winner of this race is not going to need a shoehorn.

@spendius,
his numbers are down, but so far it hasn't helped the republicans in the match-up between obama and the republican field. I don't think it will in the end.

@revelette,
What is more surprising to this observer is the fact that the gridlock party still has a chance to win votes.
