@Ticomaya,
That's not the worst Cain ad ever . . . you should check out the cowboy ad in EB's thread about bad campaign ads.

I like him a lot, partly because he is from my home town of Rockford Il.

@Ticomaya,
my personal radio god Ron Bennington said the only way to make this commercial any better was if the guy had popped the top on a tall boy, hopped in some 70's muscle car and peeled out of a parking lot

It should clarified that Politico is a (very?) liberal news outlet.

Um. No, it is not. Categorically wrong.

@Cycloptichorn,
I disagree but their objectivity is probably a useless subject to debate.
I like Politico because they are very much a 24/7 operation.

There's nothing at all to indicate that they have a 'liberal' slant, let alone a 'very liberal' slant. They have run more pieces attacking Obama than pretty much any other news outlet over the last 3 years.

Unless you're using the word to mean something different than I think you are.

Strangely enough, I dislike Politico for the exact same reason you like them. I've also found that they have very little journalistic integrity; they will run the thinnest, poorest-sourced, most inaccurate articles of any major news source.

@realjohnboy,
Let's see... Who is more credible concerning Politico's bias?

realjohnboy an admitted liberal who goes out of his way to try and remain objective while posting on A2K

or

Cyclo, a highly opinionated arch partisan who would vote for Bozo the Clown if he ran on a Democratic ticket

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to go with rjb to block Peter.

@Finn dAbuzz,
I would want to see Bobo's position on seltzer water subsidies before I committed to vote for him, thankyouverymuch.

On a more serious note, I think that one should be able to point out exactly why Politico is 'liberal' if they are going to be labeled that way. I will tell you without a doubt that there is nobody who has read more articles from them than I have, seeing as I read basically everything on their site, every single day, and have since the day they began publishing. And I've seen nothing whatsoever that would lead me to believe they have a liberal slant - at least, not in terms of political leanings.

They certainly are no nicer to Dems than they are Republicans.

@Cycloptichorn,
On a more serious note Cyclo this party stuff is irrelevant. Maybe it's a game to avoid facing up to how deep is the **** we are all in.

@spendius,
as i see it, it's not the political parties that are the problem, it's the rabid followers, i've voted all across the board in my 30 some years of being able to vote in elections, i could never pin myself down to one political party to the exclusion of ever considering another point of view

of course it helps that i believe all politicians are evil scumbags, so for me it's simply a matter of trying to pick the least scumbaggy of the lot

A little surprising to see you say that, given that you also said:
