@cicerone imposter,
I can think of several narcissists out there on the political scene (we have one in the Whiute House now) but no angels. Whom do you have in mind?

@georgeob1,
I don't think you understand the meaning of narcissist when it's applied between Trump and Obama. Obama happens to be the president of the most powerful country in the world who has an approval rating of over 50%. Trump is a wannabe, liar, narcissist, and scammer of people.
http://www.gallup.com/poll/116479/Barack-Obama-Presidential-Job-Approval.aspx
Obama has a 51% approval rating.

@georgeob1,
George, I've got your number. You can ease up on the old 'please don't throw me in that briar patch'.

Where would I go? No not to Iceland, I think my meager funds would enable us to move around in more hospitable climes in other parts of the free world. I lived in Iceland for three and a half years and love the people, but 6 months of darkness is not something I want to repeat,

@glitterbag,
I'm an old man and I've fought in a couple of wars, but I have no romanticized notions about them. The reality is an effective antdidote for that.

I 'm also a serious student of human nature and history, and I also have no romanticized notions about the perfectability of human behavior through social or government organizations.

@glitterbag,
Many Americans retire in Loreto, (Baja California) Mexico. I have a buddy who owns a realty company down there, and can introduce you if you're interested. He's originally from Canada, and he's been my travel buddy for many years because my wife doesn't like to travel.

I've only been to Reykjavik in Iceland, and know I missed a lot by not touring the country. But I did walk around quite a bit around the city, and know it pretty well.

@glitterbag,
Well I would like to see Inkeborg again ... well perhaps not. Icelanders lead the world in the consumption of books and alcohol .... and travel - anything to get away from the perpetual winter twilight, high winds and the sting of blowing basaltic dust.

You may think you've got my number, but the truth is I'm perfectly candid - a very effective tool that requires far less effort than the alternatives.

I think you are wrong and that I understsand the matter perfectly. Obama is indeed all you say. He is also as much a narcist as is Trump, though their styles and manner of expression differ.

@AC14747,
An angel compared to Trump. Hillary has devoted her life to help other people, especially women and children. Trump worked to help himself by scamming people to make his wealth.

How does one go from being dead broke to a multi multi-millionaire in just a few short years? Seems to me she's been doing a lot of helping herself.

@georgeob1,
George, that's why I have your number, I'm not disparaging you I actually do understand you better than you can imagine. I don't think for a second that are pretending to be someone you're not.

I suppose my disappointment in how my country is dealing with this election is more about how the American people can entertain the notion of a destructive force becoming president. I'm not fully endorsing Hillary as the next great hope, but I find the charges against her not as believable as some. If it comes down to Trump or Hillary, Hillary is the only real adult in the race.

So forgive me if I can't get all a twitter over every faux outrage the evil Clintons are accused. I wonder why no one wonders if Trump will use a blind trust, and turning it over to Bevis and Butthead will not constitute a blind trust. And yet, Hillary has pneumonia and it has become the biggest fraud ever perpetuated against the American people.

@glitterbag,
I agree with you about not depending on Hillary as the next great hope, but she's a much better choice than Trump who seeks the office to enlarge his narcissism. There's a cartoon with TRUMP on top of the White House. That picture is worth a thousand words - or more.

As far as I know, making money from speeches are legal in this country.

@glitterbag,
Well, as the Farmers Ins. ad goes, I've seen a thing or two and learned a thing or two.

One is that it is easier to get a woman's love than her approval. Another is to beware of one who claims to understand you.

I believe there are many destructive forces afoot out there and that the future is, as always, quite uncertain. Certainly the Law allows for Family Trusts however one wishes to construct them, though I don't know just what are the standards for a blind trust in this case. I'll readily agree the question is valid just as are the questions about the multiple Clinton trusts. (I wonder how John Kerry handles the question with Theresa's Heinz fortune).

I don't take much umbrage over the Clinton's financial shenanaigans, but I do worry about questions related to competence, a sense of responsibility and truthfulness - in short character. As I wrote... a Hobson's choice.

I do however sneer at the outraged liberal elites who appear to think their **** doesn't stink, and can't understand how the poor dumb masses might see the situation differently from the way they do. The poor dumb masses can be pretty smart, just as can be the crews of large ships and the employees of big companies. I've learned that too.

Ease up cicerone. She said they were "dead broke" in 2000 when they left the White House and they do have millions now. You make quite a few assertions here without "FACTUAL EVIDENCE" too.

@glitterbag,
We all have different experiences and subjective opinions. We learn only if we can admit when we are wrong, and learn from our mistakes.
I've worked in management positions for over 80% of my working career. I'm still learning new things after I've been retired since 1998.
