And I'll readily concede that you're too small to admit when you're wrong.

So how does an elected official show empathy to please you, george? Make it a point to show up at all the funerals of the kids who died due to lack of affordable healthcare?

@cicerone imposter,
I just heard a bunch of RW wingers' brains break: undocumented immigrants add much more to the economy than they ever "take out" of it.

I know, right? It really torques their screws when they see statistics that show illegal immigrants commit less crime than good ole 100% legal 'Muricans.

It would ruin it for them, but they avoid it and stay in their bubbles by not acknowledging facts.

In Maze of Trump’s Empire, Unknown Ties and $650 Million in Debt
Source: MSN/NY Times

On the campaign trail, Donald J. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, has sold himself as a businessman who has made billions of dollars and is beholden to no one.

But an investigation by The New York Times into the financial maze of Mr. Trump’s real estate holdings in the United States reveals that companies he owns have at least $650 million in debt — twice the amount than can be gleaned from public filings he has made as part of his bid for the White House. The Times’s inquiry also found that Mr. Trump’s fortunes depend deeply on a wide array of financial backers, including one he has cited in attacks during his campaign.

For example, an office building on Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan, of which Mr. Trump is part owner, carries a $950 million loan. Among the lenders: the Bank of China, one of the largest banks in a country that Mr. Trump has railed against as an economic foe of the United States, and Goldman Sachs, a financial institution he has said controls Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee, after it paid her $675,000 in speaking fees.

Real estate projects often involve complex ownership and mortgage structures. And given Mr. Trump’s long real estate career in the United States and abroad, as well as his claim that his personal wealth exceeds $10 billion, it is safe to say that no previous major party presidential nominee has had finances nearly as complicated.

Oh I think the Clintons are easily in the same league in terms of complexity.

@georgeob1,
Also, I read that Trump's real value is about $4.5 billion, not in excess of $10 billion.

@cicerone imposter,
I don't claim to know and believe it is likely he has both debt and assets distributed over a complex web of holdings.

More or less like the Clintons.

The Clintons are worth around $120M, mainly from Big Dog's public speaking. Mr tRump is allegedly worth $10B mainly from the protection he got from his near bankruptcy by borrowing so much from CitiBank they almost went under with him. The only reason tRump came back was that the Fed guaranteed tRump's loans from CitiBank and tRump benefited from the Clinton economy of the nineties. My uncle once told me if you owed your bank $1M - they owned you. If you owed the bank $10M - you owned the bank. Because the Fed feared a CitiBank failure would lead to failure of other banks, they guaranteed tRump's paper empire. tRump "owned" CitiBank. And for a lot more than $10M.

So tell me how and on what level do tRump and the Clintons compare.

They don't and as much as I dislike Hillary, she's a damn sight better than Donny tRump, General. I have no problem voting for her over Trump, Johnson and Stein.

@georgeob1,
I believe we both know more than fits your narrative, General. But pretending we don't still wouldn't testify to the parity in the wealth of these two different parties you allege.

The Clintons have both released their tax documents so actually we do know quite a lot about the Clinton's wealth and and how they derived it.

Where is the f*cking check?’: Louisiana relief worker spits fire over Trump’s flood zone ‘photo op’
More :RawStory

Louisiana resident who is working to aid the thousands of people who have lost their homes and been displaced in the state’s historic flooding lashed out at Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Facebook Saturday.

“Alright, y’all,” wrote Baton Rouge resident Neva Butkus, “I need to clear some things up.”

Butkus — a Chicago native who has worked with the City Year teaching program — said that she “has spent this entire week running donation centers, organizing volunteer efforts, and will be doing demo work on houses all this weekend.”

She wrote, “Our Governor has explicitly asked Obama to NOT VISIT at this moment because our first responders are STILL saving people’s lives. YES, It has been a week and there is still standing water. Tens of thousands of people are displaced. This is a NIGHTMARE and our governor does not want to shut down interstates that are BRINGING IN SUPPLIES just to escort our President into the city.”

She went on to say that Donald Trump’s visit was not welcomed by any residents she knows because it tied up precious resources that could be used in rescue and relief efforts.

“He is exploiting an opportunity to look as if he is welcomed during a tragedy,” she said.

“Our Governor literally told him (as this article shows) that Trump is welcome in our state but if he’s coming he better be volunteering or writing a sizable check to assist with recovery,” continued Butkus. “A 60 second video of him unloading play-doh from a truck does not count.”

Report: Trump discussed continuing ‘Apprentice’ from White House
Source: The Hill

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump reportedly discussed with an NBC executive continuing “The Apprentice” reality show from the White House if he were elected president, long before he launched his bid.

The anecdote was reported in June by Vanity Fair contributing editor Sarah Ellison, but appeared to go largely unnoticed until she was interviewed on "The Takeaway" podcast over the weekend.

“(NBCUniversal Chief Executive Steve Burke and Trump) outlined, presumably fantastically, that Trump should run for president; and on the off chance that he won, he would continue to star in ‘The Apprentice’ from within the White House,” Ellison wrote about a 2011 conversation between the two.

Ellison discusses in the podcast Trump’s fascination with TV ratings, but notes that the networks, not the GOP nominee, are making money off his media strategy.

Well why not do the Apprentice from the White House if he wins? Trump just views this whole being President thing as being another business venture. In business, if a section or aspect of your business is not making money, you close it or let it go bankrupt. Casinos? Close 'em. Trump's going to do the same thing if he becomes President. Social Security not doing well? Close it. Medicare needs attention? Spin it off to private industry. What's Medicaid?

Couple that with the fact that there is a line from New York to Washington of contractors he's hired that he hasn't paid, and it becomes obvious that anyone who listens to this crooked hustler is out of his mind.

Michele Bachmann: I'm advising Trump on foreign policy
Source: The Hill

ea Party firebrand Michele Bachmann says she is advising Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on foreign policy.

The former Minnesota congresswoman attended a fundraiser in the state for Trump on Saturday, where she revealed to the press that she has his ear on foreign policy.

“He also recognizes there is a threat around the world, not just here in Minnesota, of radical Islam,” she said, according to MPR News. “I wish our President Obama also understood the threat of radical Islam and took it seriously.”
