@cicerone imposter,
True, but the thing is, the guy burst onto the scene by buying a pro football team in a league that soon folded, and he always played up his wealth. Then he turns around and tries to tell people he started out poor? What chutzpah.

@Blickers,
As I indicated, Trump lies 91% of the time. That's based on Politifact, and I believe their analysis. What Trump does is more than chutzpah. He's a pathological liar. That he gets so much support from the general public is what mystifies me. Even after he insulted the Kahn family, he's still "up there" where he doesn't belong.

Clinton leads by only 10 points. One would think it'll at least by 50 points if not more.

Here's a new one on Paul Ryan.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/paul-ryan-trump-is-on-a-strange-run-but-im-going-along-with-him-for-now-162854230.html

Paul Ryan gave up his honor and ethics to follow a liar and sociopath.

Trump Shattered As Legal Request Made For Melania Trump’s Immigration Records
By Jason Easley on Thu, Aug 4th, 2016 at 6:01 pm
An anti-Trump super PAC has filed a Freedom Of Information Act request to get Melania Trump’s immigration records released to the public.

It is assumed Melania entered the US illegally through Mexico. This will be an interesting story to follow.

I'm from Cleveland and I've been to anti-war protests held by the Cleveland Public Auditorium, (also saw Hendrix, Beach Boys there) so that one stuck out like a sore thumb.

Trump floats Ivanka for Cabinet, prompting Clinton jab

Source: CNN

(CNN)Hillary Clinton jabbed Donald Trump on Twitter after the GOP nominee answered a question about potential female cabinet members by naming his daughter, Ivanka, as a "popular" candidate. Winking at a Mitt Romney gaffe from his 2012 presidential bid, Clinton wrote Thursday: "We know a guy with a binder, @realDonaldTrump. (He might not take your calls, though.)"

The Democratic nominee was referencing Romney's remarks during a 2012 presidential debate about gender equality, when he said he'd reviewed "binders full of women" for positions in his administration as governor of Massachusetts. Clinton was responding comments Trump made in an interview with "First Coast News" in Florida, when he was asked to list possible female candidates for cabinet positions if he were elected president. Trump responded during the interview by naming his daughter, Ivanka and declining to identify any other women who could be considered for roles.

"I want to know just as a female, who you would actually put into office as one of the first females in your cabinet?" asked Angelia Savage, a reporter with "First Coast News."

"Well there are so many different ones to choose, I can tell you everybody would say -- 'Put Ivanka in! Put Ivanka in!' You know that, right?" Trump said.

@bobsal u1553115,
That proves that Trump is not a good manager. Good managers select people who will do a better job than themselves. People who have the motivation to want your job and beyond. People who have worked hard to earn their college degree. That shows they have the motivation to succeed. You don't select your own daughter unless they have shown that kind of motivation to succeed.

Let alone its Ivanka tRump, who's also being sued (like father, like daughter):

Ivanka Trump Is Being Sued for Allegedly Stealing Shoe Designs

by Valentina Zarya

http://fortune.com/2016/06/23/ivanka-trump-shoe-designs/

By Italian shoe brand Aquazzura

Ivanka Trump is in hot water—again.

The daughter of GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump is being accused of copying the designs of Italian shoe brand Aquazzura for her own eponymous retail label, according to CNBC.

The suit focuses on Aquazzura’s Wild Thing sandals, one of its most popular styles, which sells for as much as $785. Trump’s version, a sandal called the Hettie, has a listed sale price of $145 at Bloomingdale’s. The Italian label is seeking an injunction barring Trump from selling the alleged knockoff, plus damages and attorney fees.

Aquazzura previously called out the purported theft in early March, with the company’s founder Edgardo Osorio writing a scathing Instagram post about Trump:

“One of the most disturbing things in the fashion industry is when someone blatantly steals your copyright designs and doesn’t care. You should know better. Shame on you [Ivanka Trump]! Imitation is NOT the most sincere form of flattery.”

Another one of Trump’s products has been in the news recently, though for different reasons. In April, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that 20,000 of her brand’s scarves were being recalled for violating the U.S. Federal Flammability Standard.

Fortune has reached out to Ivanka Trump for comment and will update this story if the company responds.

Trump unveils all-male economic advisory team

Source: Politico

By NICK GASS 08/05/16 07:40 AM EDT

Donald Trump's campaign on Friday announced more than a dozen members of the Republican nominee's all-male economic advisory team, including several prominent real-estate investors, hedge-fund managers and bankers.

Names on the list, which the Trump campaign boasted as having "unparalleled experience and success in business" include Steve Roth, the founder and chairman of Vornado Realty Trust; oil and gas tycoon Harold Hamm; Vector Group President and CEO Howard Lorber; Steven Mnuchin, Trump's national finance director and chairman/CEO of Dune Capital; top fundraiser Tom Barrack, the founder and chief executive at Colony Capital; Stephen M. Calk, chairman and CEO of The Federal Savings Bank; John Paulson, president and CEO of investment firm Paulson & Co.; Andy Beal, a banker, businessman and poker player; and Steve Feinberg, co-founder and CEO of Cerberus Capital Management.

Trump advisers David Malpass, Peter Navarro, Stephen Moore and Dan DiMicco are also on the list, led by Stephen Miller, the national policy director, and deputy policy director Dan Kowalski. The Trump campaign said that more names will be added at a later date. The announcement comes ahead of Trump's speech Monday at the Detroit Economic Club, where the Republican nominee is expected to lay out his agenda for the American economy.

“I am pleased that we have such a formidable group of experienced and talented individuals that will work with me to implement real solutions for the economic issues facing our country," Trump said in a statement released by his campaign. "For too long we have watched as President Obama and Hillary Clinton have ruined our economy and decimated the middle class. I am going to be the greatest jobs President our country has ever seen. We will do more for the hardworking people of our country and Make America Great Again.”

I'm not impressed with that list of people who would associate themselves with a textbook racial bigot and xenophobe. I wonder if they're familiar with the US Constitution.
