@Setanta,
My partner didn't posit any claims, Setanta. Only made enquiries.

But by all means attempt to belittle her questions with your pathetic inuendo.

My apologies to your partner--nevertheless, the posts i read showed that someone here doesn't know what the hell they're talking about, and i've already pointed out that that often includes Americans. You've been shooting your mouth off in this thread in an offensive way for quite some time, so don't expect much sympathy from me.

Ah, i see now . . . you were the one shooting your mouth off without knowing what the hell you're talking about. Again, my apologies to your partner.

The Presidential Transition is the same after every new president is elected.

Thanks. My partner's curiosity was in regards to the timing of the executive order. It's seven months early, in Obama's case. Usually happens a lot later. Like two or three months

Late edit; this is my partner's response; this statement does not agree with what your people said about the EO ...
A presidential transition or presidential interregnum refers to the period of time between the end of a presidential election and the inauguration of a new President of a country. During this time the incoming President usually designates new government personnel, including selecting new Cabinet positions and government department or agency heads.

That's an opinion. It's not based on anything other than the fact that you don't like me. You've been told to go **** yourself several times here, and that's what's behind your reaction.

I'm not surprised, having seen your reactions to others here, but I might have thought that you've matured a little over the years. I'm dissapointed to report that the status quo hasn't changed a bit.

You're still the arsehole we've all come to expect.

Shame really. But then, most forums need an absolute arsehole.

Looks like you're it.

@Builder,
Ah, Mr. Psychiatrist. Of course it's opinion, did you think that would be a news flash? I don't like or dislike you, because i don't know you. I do find most of your "contributions" here to be hilarious or offensive, usually because of the evidence of ignorance on your part, and, i suspect, a deep-seated contempt for Americans and the United States. As for being told to f*** off, sticks and stones, love . . .

The biggest arsehole [sic] here is the one who is attempting to harass me right now.

You appeared out of nowhere in this debate. Didn't even have a rod in the fire.

There is no "third party". Bernie had to go Dems to get in the race.

But it's not chuckle worthy to assume that you think your opinion is what everyone is thinking? That's chronic narcissism, Set. It's probably the reason you have no friends.

@Builder,
It is standard procedure for there to be a transition from one administration to the next. It is also legally required for an outgoing administration to assist the incoming administration under the Presidential Transition Act of 1963.

There is nothing new here other than perhaps Obama is being more diligent in overseeing the transition by issuing an EO setting up a commission to help with the transition.

Sanders is not a Dem...He is a Socialist, who is in the race strictly for himself. He basically doesn't care about either you or me, only his ego-driven SELF.

@Builder,
Do you have an EO or a transitional order you want to talk about?
YouTube videos are not put out by Presidents when they dealing with transitions to a new administration.

Donald Trump now says he’ll raise taxes on the wealthy if elected president, and he supports an increase in the minimum wage. He’s already on record as wanting to renegotiate trade deals to make them “better” for American workers and limiting immigration “to protect American jobs.” Now that he has the Republican nomination sewn up, is he trolling for independents and Democrats?

@edgarblythe,
Trump's a consummate sales person. He tells you how great his stuff is, how awful the competition is, and how he'll solve all your problems if you just give him your business. He doesn't give a wet fart about actually accomplishing this, he just wants his numbers to look good at the end of the quarter.
