@Lash,
50,000 would not change the outcome at all. You are the one whining that Hillary stole the election by preventing people from voting. Hillary had over 1 million votes. 50,000 is less than 3% of the total votes cast.

If only 50,000 more people had cast ballots for Bernie in NY, Hillary would have had 56.5% of the vote instead of 58%. That means Bernie would probably have the exact same number of delegates he got now but no more than 3 more.

I am pointing out that all your whining is nothing but sour grapes because your candidate is losing. It certainly has nothing to do with a possible change in the outcome.

@BillRM,
Except it wasn't being taken away. That is the whole point. This is nothing but whining by people that see their candidate losing.

So tell us how many people had their vote taken away Lash? The problem is when the investigation is done and the final report says you are wrong about this you won't admit it.

Quote:
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, a Hillary Clinton supporter, called for major reforms to the Board of Elections as a series of snafus continued to bubble up, including reports of the errant "purge" in Brooklyn.
"It has been reported to us from voters and voting rights monitors that the voting lists in Brooklyn contain numerous errors, including the purging of entire buildings and blocks of voters from the voting lists," de Blasio said in a statement Tuesday calling on the board to "reverse that purge."
"The perception that numerous voters may have been disenfranchised undermines the integrity of the entire electoral process and must be fixed," he said.
Speaking to CNN on Tuesday night, Board of Elections Executive Director Michael Ryan pushed back against the growing criticism, saying, "We're not finding that there were issues throughout the city that are any different than what we experience in other elections."
Of the 126,000 Democratic voters taken off from the rolls in Brooklyn, Ryan said 12,000 had moved out of borough, while 44,000 more had been placed in an inactive file after mailings to their homes bounced back. An additional 70,000 were already inactive and, having failed to vote in two successive federal elections or respond to cancel notices, were removed.
"Since the eyes and ears of the world are on New York, issues that are relatively routine for any election are receiving greater scrutiny," he added.

so who should have been kept on the active list - if you were advising the NYS Democrats

the ones who'd moved out of the borough and no longer qualify?

the ones whose letters had been returned?

the ones who hadn't voted in the last two elections/hadn't responded to notices advising them of cancellation of their registration?

I'm just having a read through Michael Ryan's history in the job. Until evidence of his claim is presented to the inquiry, it's just a claim.

Quote:
The agency’s executive director, Staten Island Democrat Michael Ryan, will see his pay jump nearly 10%, to $198,200 from about $180,600 after the secret vote.

If people who want to vote are being denied their rights, then Houston, we have a problem.

It is attitudes like that which have removed the creativity from the election process.

This is the front story. This chick is likely a scapegoat for DNC shenanigans. We'll see if somebody gets - and reports - what really happened.

When people talk about the Clinton Machine, this is one notorious branch of it.

There is no way to know 120,000 would have voted for Bernie, they could very well (most likely) be Clinton voters.

http://media.npr.org/assets/img/2016/04/19/gettyimages-522490742-1-_wide-63213ad6644948f8f3a2c5e676f52342b7163226-s800-c85.jpg

Moreover, it seem that many of those voters eventually voted by affidavit.

Quote:
Many of these New Yorkers said they ultimately voted by affidavit rather than with a traditional poll. “Over the last month, I have double and triple checked that I was registered and that I knew my polling place,” a Bushwick woman named Chavisa said. “I was even registered in the online system...I really have no idea how or why this could have happened.”

The giggly cheating camp and those of us who demand our right to at least have our ******* vote counted is what is driving votes toward Bernie Sanders, and why the Democrat party is being ripped in two.

Hope you're happy with your results.

Too bad you can't thumb what you don't like in reality.

But you can't.

This years election seems to be getting out of hand.

Man Arrested, Charged With Threatening to Bomb Trump Rally

Quote:
A 20-year-old Connecticut man is facing charges after authorities say he tweeted out a bomb threat during a Donald Trump rally Saturday.

Connecticut State Police say the U.S. Secret Service contacted them Saturday afternoon after they say Sean Morkys posted on Twitter, "Is someone going to bomb the trump rally or am I going to have to?"

Police say that tweet was followed by another warning a friend to have his family members leave the rally so they wouldn't get hurt.
